We are also staying at the Pinnacle, did you walk to the port and if so how was it?  It looks like any easy walk on Google maps but sometimes it differs in person.

As Milhouse stated it is walkable, and we walked down the day before and scouted it out, but since we had large pieces of luggage, we arranged for a ride to drop us off at the baggage check in.

It will depend on the date/promo when booked.  Your TA can help you with this, or call Celebrity now!   I chose not to take the new, slightly lower price for a variety of reasons...not worth it overall, as my OBC was over 2,000.  Yes, until final payment for cruise and airfare.

Thanks, I waited and repriced it last week and saved $3,485.00 including gratuities, we lost our $800.00 OBC, but well worth it!

We decided to book at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport hotel which is attached to the airport so we can walk off the plane and into the hotel without additional shuffling around after traveling all day. It is still expensive but $500 less than the Pan Pacific. It is a little more expensive then other airport hotels that provide free shuttles but we like the convenience. Then we are taking the cruise line transfer from the airport to the pier in the morning. You can also use the skytrain, taxi or uber to the pier. I hope this helps!

We choose the airport Fairmont the night before we fly home, especially since our flight is at 7:00 AM

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately still $1100 a night there.

I think we will venture out Robson St way to get something less pricey.

Sorry, I guess everything has doubled if not tripled since COVID. Good luck and enjoy your cruise!

Too rich for me. We have checked for the last 6 months and have never found PP under A$800 a night.

Below is today's price for this Sept. Auberge was the next plan but now fully booked. Plan C now required😄.

We have also stayed at the Pinnacle Marriott approximately a block and a half away. We had a great room high floor overlooking the harbor. Might be worth checking it out.

We were in a RS on Equinox 3/2022.  We had made two specialty restaurant reservations before we cruised.  On board we asked 4 days ahead of time for additional reservations and we’re told those times are not available.  All they had was like 8:30 pm.  We also hosted a cabin crawl for about 12 people.  When I asked if some snacks could be provided I was told it’s $20 a person!

We are sailing in September in RS and shoreside contacted us a few weeks ago with a bunch of questions.  I answered and no reply…been almost two weeks.  I did send a friendly Did you receive my email a week ago and nothing.  If I don’t hear anything by Monday I will contact them again.

We sailed on the Equinox last Oct 2022, and none of the three small things we requested to the SSC were done (1) extra ice bucket filled with ice, for the special bottle of champagne we brought OB, 2) a body pillow for my DH, 3) and to have the chocolate dipped strawberries, that we ordered and paid for ahead of time, in the room for sail way). Alway had great SSC experiences in the past except for that time on that ship.

  7. Several years ago while staying in a PH suite (15 night Mediterranean/TA cruise, Silhouette), my MIL was in a Concierge cabin, and Luminae allowed her to go there to eat every day with or without us, but we paid a fee (supposed to be so much per meal, but they gave us a great deal for the entire cruise). The Concierge also let her join us in Michael’s Club ea night, and the Captains table one night. I think it depends on the suite and the ship, but it can’t hurt to ask when you get onboard. Good luck to you!

How do I contact a Celebrity agent?

Call Celebrity 1-888-751-7804. If you just booked, some times it takes a few days to for the all included drink package, tips, WiFi, and OBC to show up on your invoice. The number above you can also request an invoice to be emailed to you. Enjoy your trip and Sky Suite!

I was on Equinox in October and had no problem with the Streaming internet with one exception.   We were on an B2B and each time we were anchored off of Catalina I couldn't get either a Celebrity Internet Connection or a T-Mobile connection on the ship or on Catalina Island.     Before and after no problems.   Really strange as you can actually see LA from Catalina and Catalina is part of LA County.

I was able to stream Netflix and hold Zoom Conference Calls with no Pixelization or stutter.   Depending on location on the ship I spoke to some that had problems with dead spots but I didn't experience any.

We were on the Equinox for a 10 night Halloween cruise, in the SO Caribbean, and it was horrible.  We had surf and stream that came with our suite it was the worst we’ve ever experienced.

I wonder how popular the retreat/suites will be once all of the FCC’s are used up? I suspect that was one reason why they were so popular. I looked at a few sailings in the retreat for 2023 and I refuse to pay those prices. Especially after experiencing the X retreat product last month on the Solstice.

Agree, it wasn’t the best experience on the Equinox either this last October. We paid a little over $8000. for a CS/10 NT. cruise then, and now it is running around $18,500. for our Dec 2023 Beyond cruise. It’s Insane! The old Solstice ship for Alaska 2024 is crazy expensive also. How long will people continue to be loyal to Celebrity and continue to pay these prices with all the downgrades?

The expiration date is on the box.  Not the test stick.  The dates have been extended several times but up to an additional year.  Check the website of your particular test for the correct details.

That is what I basically said. If the box is expired check online, The dates on most kits have been extended, but I haven’t seen any up to a year out.

Is the expiry date on the stick showing the negative test?

You can also check online the website for the brand of test that you have, ours expired the end of Sept, but on the website it stated the FDA extended the expiration date three months beyond that date.

    Sept 17th berth  19, Oct 1 - 8 it appears to be 25

If the image you shared is a screenshot of your Captain's Club account, it looks like you're currently at the Select club tier, 74 points to Elite.

You'll currently get all of the benefits shown under Your Club Tier (Select), and you'll receive the Elite benefits once you get 74 more club points. I agree that it's a little confusing - I think they show the next tier as a marketing tactic to incentivize you to keep cruising with Celebrity.

🤔 One 10 night cruise in a sky suite will take care of that, and the OP will make Elite.

In our experience, cabins 1665 and 1668 on deck 11 are the best aft suites on the Silhouette.  First, the decks above and below these cabins contain cabins and do not have the noise factor from public venues.  Second, we have never experienced a problem with the ship's exhaust on this deck though some have experienced soot on the balconies.  Third, the window washing equipment is NOT parked next to these two balconies.  We enjoy spending a lot of time on our balcony, and the balconies on 1665 and 1668 provide a great view of the wake AND the scenery on both sides of the ship.  You do not have complete privacy on either of these two balconies.  As to the ship's motion, forward cabins get the most, aft cabins get the second worse with middle cabins getting the least.  We will always choose cabin 1665 or 1668 on the Celebrity Silhouette.

I agree, these are wonderful cabins, spectacular wake views. Never had an issue with wind nor soot. One thing to consider is the location to the elevators is a long walk, if you have any issues walking. Also don’t get deck 6 because the balcony is very small, I have read lots of complaints on here about it.

Make sure you let the concierge know this is on your wish list. We have experienced sail away cruises with champagne and sail ins (early morning)  with hot chocolate, both very enjoyable.

Also let the concierge know if you are interested in any behind the scenes tours (galley, theatre, bridge…). Owing to distancing they may not be available at present but we have thoroughly enjoyed on previous cruises.

Also make sure to have closed toed shoes on. No sandals or flip flops allowed.

There are a couple of large gaps in Equinox's 2023 summer schedule. Nothing between June 24 and July 8 and then nothing else in July until July 30. Seems all regular schedule during August. Any clues about where she is for these missing weeks?

    I just looked and she has 8 night sailings July 2nd -10th and 30th - Aug 7th, and 6 Night sailings July 10th - 16th, and the 24th - 30th. I'm Not seeing any gaps in July.

Just speaking from my own experiences having dined in Luminae while staying in Sky Suite (3 times), Royal Suite (twice) and Penthouse (twice). Had much better service and catering to specific needs and offering to get things off menu without even asking in the higher level suites.

I totally agree with with you, it has been our experience as well. When staying in the PH they seem to bend over backwards to please, if in a Sky suite or CC some times they seem not as accommodating. Still great service though.
