  1. Good info, thanks. Hope we have the same level of service.

DW also has mobility issues and we usually rent a wheelchair for the cruise.

We had contacted shorexaccess@rccl.com for our Alaska cruise last year on the Solstice. This department really came through for us. We have contacted them for this Panama Canal cruise, and are waiting to see what they have.

    From their e-Mail:

Accessible shore excursions come in two levels:

Level 1 or "Panoramic" tours are designed for guests that are able to walk short distances, can negotiate the steps of a motor coach and/or travel with a standard size manual collapsible wheelchair that can fit in the motor coach luggage compartment. Be advised that most tours are conducted on motor coach. Please note that most motor coach steps are approximately 8- 12 inches high; the first step being as high as 18 inches from the ground.

Level 2 or "Easy" tours are designed for guests unable to negotiate motor coach steps or full time wheelchair users. The vehicle used on this type of excursion is adapted with an access ramp (or lift where available) to accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs. In order to use the ramp and/or lift, guests must be seated on a wheelchair or scooter. Due to liability issues, participants cannot stand on the ramp to be lifted into the vehicle. These tours are conducted on specialized vehicles therefore there are a limited number of seats available. Therefore, space is reserved for guests unable to negotiate steps and who are in need of an accessible vehicle traveling with no more than one able bodied companion.

  2. I know, silly question but what is "Inaugural Elite"? We are Elite Plus and it doesn't mean anything to me but never had "Inaugural Elite"?

  3. Andy, We are sailing on the Infinity May 11, 2016, which is a Pacific Coastal 11 night.

The roll call was started as May 11, 2016 Infinity South America in error, and has several post on the Pacific Coastal cruise.

There is another roll call titled call titled 2016, Infinity Pacific Coastal, May 11 that only has a couple of post in it.

Is it possible to combine into the correct titled post?

    Thanks,

    Jerry

  4. I have filed three, two for medical problems and one for a last minute cancellation due to a heart stint.

First go online and get form.

Fill out form and send it all required copies of bills.

Took about three weeks and received all money back, no issues at all.

    Good luck.

Same as above - Dr. had to fill out his portion of form.

    No issues.

  5. Love reading these great comments about century... We'll be on her in July.

One question for all of you... Where do you eat after you embark? A common suggestion on cc is going to bistro on five instead of the buffet, but century doesn't have bistro on five, right?

The last few cruises, Kay & I enjoyed the Aqua Spa Cafe.

We have always found the Century crew to be friendly and helpful. We are booked on the September Golden Gate Alaska and hope to see many friends on board.
