Hampton Inn Ybor City offers free shuttle to/from the port(approx 1 mile) and self park though not free but has park and stay rates.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago. Shuttle is very helpful and in walking distance to anywhere you'd like to go in Ybor City. Friends got park and cruise for $159/night.

I'm a Salomon gal personally. Usually if you check the Steep & Cheap page of BackCountry.com, you can find them on sale for $40 - $60 instead of the $100+ price tag.

Got some of these for our upcoming excursion at the REI Outlet

  3. When we were in Nassau a few years ago, we were going to take the taxi to Atlantis to check out their humidor, and our taxi driver had a box of Cubans with the stamp/seal that he sold us at a decent price. Now I know that we had no way to verify that they were legit, but our cigar lovers enjoyed them nonetheless, and it saved us the cab ride and high prices of Atlantis.

  4. You have to submit the raised seal birth certificate and they will send the documents back to you.

If you opt to send them without expedite, if you haven't received them within 3 weeks, call your congressional or senate office. They generally have folks that can contact the passport agency for you. Just give them at least a week to help you get it done.

  5. Our flight isn't until 6:45 the evening after our cruise. Carnival's only option for an activity is an Everglades tour that looks poorly rated. Any ideas of things we can do for a few hours? We are a party of 6 with luggage, so I'm needing some help with any been there done that advice.

    TIA!
