Hi All: I have been reading all the opinions about the air. We will be going in November. Would most book now, or wait a few months? I have spoken to both at Quantas and ANZ. We would like to try to go on our miles. Have all been in this same situation? Is very frustrating to me. Opinions on booking now or later?? thanks,

Sorry, there r no kettles allowed in balcony. Appreciate any help about this: We would like to go on the Celebrity solistice for cruise to New Zealand only. Have been trying to find either land or cruise to Australia before this. Most i have seen only do 2 nights in maybe 3 places. Anyone know of how to do just Australia, so have more time in each place and then do cruise on Solistice to New Zealand? appreciate any info, thanks,
-
Hi: We r also not sure about the Solistice Australia/New Zealand cruise. I know there r several cruise only itineraries. We just also discovered that Celebrity has a subagency under them called Enrichment Journeys. They do part Australia with hotels, tours, etc and then onto the Solistice for the New Zealand part. Have u heard of this? anyone? we might do this. Expensive, but sees alot in 23 days.

We recently returned from western caribbean cruise. We chose Nochi as 6 other ships in port and didnt want to compete with so many for tours, beaches, etc. We enjoyed our stay there. The beach was nice. The staff were friendly and always asking if we needed anything. The meal was great! Was quiet, but had to pay to go back and forth to port, think was about $16 each way? Might go back again if in area another time. Have fun

Totally agree need medical and cancellation insurance, etc. 4 years ago we were one week away from a Bermuda cruise. My then 3 year old grandson had a stroke (AVM). He was hospitalized and not sure he would survive. Because of the insurance we had all money refunded. We are now suppose to go in 4 weeks on a cruise to the Western Carribean. I sprained my ankle and though not broken, tore my ligament/tendon/ Wearing air cast and not sure if will be able to go. So, having insurance will make it easier if have to cancel knowing we wont lose the money. Better be safe than sorry. Never know what can happen.

Jenny: Thinking and wondering what to do for cruise in Dec/2015 or Jan/2016. Have same questions as you. Also, different ports and different cruises. We want to do Aus/NZ, but want to be abe to go to Great Barrier reef and Tauranga. So many choices. Need Help! thanks to all

I have not taken this excursion with Oceania, but did it with another cruise. It was really alot of fun. The water may at times be a bit rough. I am 5'3" and my husband had to hold me as the water would sometimes go over my head. This probably was due to the current. I would recommend it.

really loved the Artist Loft on Marina. Same artist but different projects to work on

BayBear: Since u say u know where to go on the other western ports, can u post as several of us going in Dec who r new to the area. thanks alot,
-
FYI: Besides free soda, etc, the shakes, malts and sundaes near the pool area are also free. LOL that is why i am going on Riviera to gain another 10 lbs like i did on Marina!!

Update: I wrote in June on my experience in the Artist Loft. We will be going this December on the Riviera. I am looking forward to going again to the Loft. Yes, be there early as when all the chairs are filled, that is it. I am not a good artist, but just love the crafts in general. Hope u enjoy as much as i did and hopefully will again

Hi Mura: I remember talking to you last year when we were planning our 1st trip on "O". Are u on any cruises this year?
-
Piney: I believe we were on the same trip with you. Yes, even though we couldn't land, was very interesting to hear the stories they shared and watch from our balcony the trip around the island. It was a really nice cruise and we are going this December on the Riviera. We had sent ourselves postcards which we finally got last week. Was our 1st O cruise and hope to go on others

Even though the Pacific is small ship, still is almost 1 1/2 years away. Is there something i should know about this sailing? There r over 100 people before us on this list. Thanks,
-
We are on a waitlist for Dec 2015. Will it be warm enough for water sports? Not understanding why the ship is completely sold out so have to be on wait list when over a year away.

Was on the Marina in April and took several classes in the Artist Loft. All the classes were taught by a painter. The ship supplied all the paints, brushes, papers, etc. I loved all the classes which were varied-charcoal, oil, watercolors, collages. It was a highlight of the cruise. I have never been on a cruise that did this. I believe both the Marina and Riviera do this. It was our first Oceania experience and this was a terrific addition to the rest of the amenities. Enjoy,

Mark: Thanks for the info on Adelaide. Did u like the Oosterdam? Planning for next year. Was thinking about month of Sept/Oct, good time for both australia and new zealand? thanks,

We were on the Marina cruise before you to Lima. I enjoyed most of the shows in spite of previous negative remarks about this. I loved the Artist Loft. I recently read that may only be given on world cruises soon. Does anyone know if this is true? The Brunch prior to our last day was also an unexpected extra. All was good about this cruise. Sorry u did not have such a good cruise. The only negative we found: my husband was hurt getting off the tender in Fakarava. Hurt his knee and ankle as not enough crew to help getting off tender. Should have a ramp from tender to island. No one from crew came to check on him. The medical clinic staff were very good treating him.

Have been reading about Asia on here. Heard about "Enrichment Journeys" which uses Millenium ship for cruise portion. There is also a land portion. They are departing November 2015. Can anyone advise me on weather at that time of year and any comments about this company. thank you,
-
Hi: Returned from our first "O" cruise on May 6 in Lima. We were happy with this cruise, except for a few complaints: We had 2 lifeboat drills, not one! I think the food, although more varied, including lobster everyday, was not as great as everyone had said. There is a new entertainment director and we really enjoyed most of the shows. Loved all the ports even though unable to tender into Pitcairn. My husband had an accident getting off the tender in Fakarava (won't elaborate), but wasnt able to enjoy rest of cruise. We did all our port stops independently. Must highly recommend Haku Tours in Lima. Over 70% of the people live in Shanytown. A real "eye opener" and plan on doing a fund raiser for them now that home. Would still cruise with "O" again

Does Oceania have Bingo games?

I think a sportjacket isnt really necessary, unless u get cold easy. But, what about jeans around the ship on sea days?
