  1. We have never been on ACL so a few questions.

    it says wine and beer at lunch and dinner. Is that the only time you can get wine and beer? Do they offer mixed drinks and if so are they included or extra charge?

    Are transfers from airport and to airport offered or included. I want to know what is included in the prices? We are Regent cruisers so use to everything included at no extra charge. Also what about gratuities are they included. Thanking you ahead for responding.

  2. Has anyone used Greg Hamilton to tour from Seward to Anchorage after a cruise that ends in Seward. He is on the tours by locals website .This is a private tour for 4 adults and we are picked up from the cruise terminal in Seward and our tour is 7 hours as our flight does not leave Anchorage until 8:45 pm for our nonstop flight back to Dalkas. 

  3. Can you use the steam room and other amenities of the spa even if you are not having a booked spa service? I have only used when I have a massaged booked.

  4. We are in Texas and flying from DFW to Vancouver on American and they have a non stop and from Anchorage to DFW non stop but the flight leaves Anchorage at 8:30 in the evening. We booked our own flights because Regent did not offer these non stop flights so we took the air credit and booked our own. You can hire a driver to meet you at the ship and provide a private tour of around 7 hours and take you to the airport. We are doing that so we are not at the airport for so long. Good luck.

  5. Yes we are in a Master Suite for an Alaska cruise on Explorer in late May and we could not get the restaurants on the days we wanted. Hopefully the butler can arrange once on board. We just returned from a Barbados cruise on the Splendor and our butler was by far the worst butler we have ever encountered. None of the drinks provided in the room were what we had requested. No fresh fruit was in the room. We requested certain appetizers for the evenings and what we requested was not provided. He kept bringing cheese and crackers. He actually argued with my husband regarding the issue. This is not acceptable. The food in Speciality restaurants was hit and miss. We found the Compass Rose to provide the best service and food. It seemed the quality especially the steak was very poor especially in Prime seven. We had a wonderful time but it does seems the quality is slipping. Also Regent did not provide pre cruise hotel or transfers in Barbados. 
    We did receive compensation but not enough to cover the cost.

So we have these multi city flights with an overnight in Miami and American is wanting to check us in for our flights tomorrow but  I am concerned if I check in it is from Austin to Barbados and we are spending the night at the Miami airport. Should I just wait until tomorrow to check in at the airport and only check our bags to Miami and then the next go checkin again for the flight to Barbados.

    We are using him for transport from Airport to hotel, from hotel to ship, and from ship back to airport with a short tour of the island. Very reasonable 

  8. Yes many years ago when began cruising with Regent the wine choice was definitely better for Reds in my opinion, we are heading to the Caribbean in Feb on  Slendor our first time on Splendor. Hopefully the choice will be good. In the past we have used OBC to purchase reds we like.
