Our cruise will be docking in Marseille. Can we get off the ship and walk to the center of town or would we need to get a taxi or are there shuttle buses there to take you to town?
We will be staying in Barcelona for about 3 days before our cruise. We'd like to get to a winery at some point during that time. Is there one close enough that we could take a taxi there?
I should have booked last night with Tap air today price went up so it was back to the drawing board. I ended up booking with United out of Newark on a direct flight both ways. We do have to leave a few days early and come home the day after the cruise but I figure that just gives us more time to explore Barcelona and not be in such a rush to see everything.
Actually I am pretty picky about my hair products. However I'm trying to only take a carry on bag on this trip. If I can survive for a week without taking my own products would save so much space. I believe in the past suites always has the nicer products in the bathroom.
Side note I don't think I ever paid $25 for a haircut.
We will be in a suite in May on Symphony of the seas. Do I need to pack shampoo and body wash or does the suite have that in the room? Trying to save space in the luggage.
Do suite guests still have priority boarding? If so does that mean I still need to adhere to the check in time or can I come when I want? Trying to get on asap but willing to wait if need be.
We will be going to Barcelona Spain, Palma de Malorca, Provence France, Florence, Naples and Rome Italy on our western Mediterranean cruise. Would you recommend a beach day at one of these ports?
I just received my RCCL credit card to pay for my cruise and get some OBC. My question is if I use my credit card for on board charges will I get 2x points?
Is it a safe area meaning can I walk around alone and feel comfortable doing that. As a female.
As far as shopping I was looking for clothes, hand bags, maybe little gifts for friends.
While in Naples I am thinking about taking the ferry to Capri on our own. My question is can we simply get off the ferry and walk around Capri to eat and go shopping? Are there many shops and restaurants in the area closest to the ferry? I was hoping to just go for a few hours and not all day. RCCL has a 9 hour capri trip but I was hoping to not spend so much time off there.
I'm noticing in my search that there is so much to see and do everywhere. This is our first time to Europe so if we like this cruise I'm sure we will be back many times.
We are looking into going to Cassis. Thinking about having lunch, walking around and shopping. This is our first time there. Can we get a taxi? or Shuttle bus? Is it safe to go without a tour group?
Our first stop is always the bar to get a drink then we just walk around until we can get to our room to drop our bags. last time we just hung out in the suite lounge until room was ready. This year we will probably get a drink check into muster station and walk around for awhile.
Our deluxe drink package just went up to $71 per day. Kind of torn if we should get it or not. We will be on a European cruise and since the itinerary is port heavy not sure if it will make sense. It is nice though knowing we wont have a bar tab on our bill at the end of the cruise.
