  1. Our CC Casino cruises are not Bounce Back offers.7-night Majic for Oct. was Just Port Tax only for $238.00 for interior.7-night Splendor for Nov. was port tax of $258.00,but this is a Preimer Players Club Cruise so we get $500 cash, free Drinks on Us cards and special events for prizes.NCL's Ocean Players Club could not even come close to an offer like that. It' not how munch you win or loose, but your rate of play on hrs.played and amount bet.We are not "High Roller by no means, but after 76 cruises, not all on CC they have the best deals

  2. Like Tutontow says , it's hard to beat CC Players Club by far the best club at sea.Have sailed RC,Ncl and their Players club can't match CC.Have two booked for Oct. and Nov.Have RCL booked for next May for Alaska. It's good to spread your cruise $$ around and see what other lines offer!

  3. We have been observing the rates for this ship over the past month and saw it was a great deal to book. But, when we actually booked on the 15th, the rate jumped up $70. That wasn’t the worst of it. The price went back down today to $269, so I called to see if we could get our rate reduced. The $269 is a senior rate, but only for bunk beds! I can’t believe this is the only way seniors can get this rate! The person I spoke with was nice, however, he was at an age where he has no clue what it is like for a senior person to climb up and down a ladder in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. We are used to our level beds…taking a sleepy trip to the bathroom in the dark not realizing you are off the ground 5-6 feet is a recipe for disaster! A lot of seniors, like my husband, are disabled too. How can Carnival offer this rate to seniors and only offer it for bunk beds is beyond me. Because it is in close proximity to where we live, this is our third voyage this year on this ship and fourth overall, but it may be the last with this policy.

Call quest services or e-mail them and explain you case and if that doesn't work, call back and see if you can get a casino rate even if ypu don't gamble they will quote you the rate. Also you can park free at port w/Hcdp.card .will save you $75

  4. Yes, correct!!!!

BUT, that $12,500 is $12,500 PLAYED, not necessarily LOST. Let's do some casino math for the shocked and awed crowd. I'll use roulette since that is what I am most familiar, and this will be some loose math based on average statistics.

Carnival's roulette wheel (zero and double zero) has a house edge of 5.26%, meaning for every $100 I bet (using the 1 in 37 chance to win) the casino will end up with $5. According to endless gambling research, people play 5 times the amount they start with at a sitting. So, if I start with $100 playing $10 per spin and keep replaying my winnings I should play $500 and end up with $75 left. If I keep playing my $75 I should play $375 and end up with $56. If I keep playing my $56 I should play $280 and end up with $42...and on and on. If I keep playing until my original $100 is all gone, I should have played $1835.

Based on that, to reach $12,500 of PLAY, I should have spent $700. So, in this example a 5000 point free cruise is NOT $12,500 of cash out your pocket, but $700 (assuming you get the average number of wins and losses). So it is entirely possible for people to say they only had $100 and ended up $200 ahead and still got a free cruise. It's also possible for someone to play $10,000 and be horribly horribly unfortunate and lose every time and not get a free cruise. It's not the win and loss that the casino counts but the amount of PLAY.

Please note this is based on a bunch of established averages and individual results WILL vary.

Very well put Wavey! a person who knows how to gamble! Many black 17's to you!

  5. so if i'm doing my math right you have to spend $12,500 to get 5000 points to get offered a "free" cruise???

You do not spend anything, you wager or bet xxx amount of dollars in casino. Example, a slot player playing a penny machine ,$1.50 per spin(max wager) will wager 8 spins@ $1.50 per minute= $12 x 6o minutes= $720 per hr. wagered with no wins on machine,We know machines do pay back $$ during the hour how much ?unknowned.Table games $15 wager on 3 card poker at minutes per hand is 5 if table is full. I will have $180 wagered pe hr.with no wins, but we know that we all don't lose so factor in win vairies on table. The HOUSE or CASINO ALLways has the advatage. As players we know this,Finding the right game to play with odds and house % is the key to have a better CHANCE of leaving with more $$$ than you came in with.GAMBLING IS LUCK AND MONEY MANAGEMENT!

  6. We were also on this cruise on Liberty and everything was fantastic!!! Food, Band in Casino (where we spend a LOT of time!) was great, weather was wonderful and the islands beautiful. We actually won in the casino on ship and on Aruba and Curacao!!! Loved the Liberty so much that we are booked January 3rd on her for another 8 nights!!! Room temp was whatever we set it at and was no problem at all. #6433.

Was on this sailing also, deck 10 interior.Room temp was 71% no problems. Was a grear crusie! brought a little money back from casino! Would have been more, but I oaid off my spa bill.Mine was more than DW.

  7. Got off the Liberty on Sunday. Received a letter from the casino for a free inside cabin. Just booked the splendor for December 14! Upgraded to a balcony for only 160. Score!

Congrads! I was also on that cruise and got one too! Played 3-card poker.Im the one that had the turttle on my chips. The casino gave out a lot of letters that cruise. The casino was full every night. Our group had a blast and make a profit too.

  8. It is not the real citizen's of Charleston, the ones that were born here ,that is the problem. The "Bluebloods" are people from other states that have come to live in this fair city and want to change our way of life and history.Their blood is as red as ours! THATS THE PROBLEM ! Shipping has been the lifeblood of the Charleston's sea port long before Bluebloods came to live here.Cargo,Naval,Cruiseships and tour boats hve been in Charleston harbor for over a century and will be here for many more years to come.

  9. On the first night of your cruise, introduce yourself to the casino host and tell her you want to be rated on your play.Slots or table play or both. Each night touch base with them to see if you are being rated properly. At the last night ,they will give you a letter from Players Club with different offers and you will receive other offers in future. We booked 8 day S Carib for $269.42- $100 OBC = $169.42 for 4-H on Liberty for 10/25/14

  10. Great Review! Waiting for the rest.We will be on Liberty 10/25/14 with same ports as you did.I'm also a Players Club member and got the free cruise offer from casino instead of Premier offer.Did host not offer you a comped diner or bottle of wine at dinner? I will have "drinks on Us" card.Glad to hear casino staff is good.I play 3- card poker and not any slots.Hope you had better luck on your way back to PC! Gambling is nothing but luck and money management, but its my entertainment.DW likes the sun and reading.Thank Again for a GREAT REVIEW! Carlyle
