  1. Great spot to take photos of passing ships! This ship carrier was headed to Victoria. Susan is in the blue.
  2. After breakfast, we grabbed the camera gear and headed up to the racetrack. Susan was going to ride the Go-karts! Pool deck - still rather empty... Where are all the chair hogs? Must be too cool for them! Le Bistro Susan feels the need for some speed!

  4. Not there yet... Getting closer though! We are at this point getting ready to head into the Strait of Juan de Fuca between British Columbia and Washington State. Susan stopped to get our coffee's. I went and got in line for Breakfast.

  7. Shrimp Cocktail Crab Cake Roasted Beets Wedge Salad with my typical modifications! I got baked Cod Seafood Linguini for Susan Key Lime Meringue Pie Vanilla Cheesecake "in a Jar"! While it was a chill day, we knew it was going to be a busy one in Victoria the next day. So we decided to call it a night and just relax in the stateroom!
  8. I went and got some Vitamin Sea time on deck 8! Then it was time for the Meet & Greet! Once we were done talking after the Meet & Greet, we headed to the Art Auction We just watched, nothing really popped! We chilled for a bit, before heading to the Latitudes party Awe! Don't we look all nice! Then it was time for dinner at Ocean Blue!
  9. Off to Starbucks for coffee! Time for Breakfast! Half Grapefruit and Cottage Cheese Fruit Salad Open Faced Smoked Salmon Bagel Eggs to order (medium) with sides and a bagel and cheese to make a sandwich!

  11. Just when I thought the August Election was winding down, and I would have more free time... One of the Statewide races went to a mandatory hand recount. So... That's what I have been doing the last few days, instead of being able to work on this.

  14. We met Andy and Sydney at Cagney's for Dinner. Menu Crab Cake Wedge Salad Ribeye Steak With sides Petite Filet Mignon with sides Dessert Menu Raspberry Creme Brulee Cheesecake "naked" - I am not a fan of the sweet topping. It makes the cheesecake too sweet.

  16. One of the cells of the prisoners who escaped Alcatraz They made fake heads to allow them time to escape. Its amazing that they fit through those holes. Susan checking out the cell. Dining room Kitchen complete with block to store the knives showing the shape and size to prevent knives from disappearing. We had to get these postcards! They even date stamp them for you! It was really fitting that we visited on April Fools Day (April 1st).

  18. I apologize for the delay in continuing this, August 6th was the State Primary election in Washington. Lets just say everyone seemed to wait till the last minute to turn in their ballots, and thus I have been very busy.
  19. Landing area This is where the accessible tram leaves from for those who are unable to climb all the way to the top. Seagull strutting around like he owns the place! I waited for the tram to drop the first people off and I caught the second tram up. There was no way I would be able to make it up all the way and enjoy myself afterwards. Susan made the climb. I was disappointed I didn't get a clearer shot of this sign starting our tour like new arrives in the shower room. This is where they would pick up Prison uniforms and bedding.   20. We headed off the boat at first opportunity! We were docked at Pier 27. We headed over to Pier 33. We had purchased tickets to head over to Alcatraz! Away we go! We caught the last boat to the Island for that day. We still had several hours to explore.
