  1. The St. Kitts Railroad was originally used to transport sugar cane from all the plantations. The tall island in the far distance is Nevis. The sister Island to St. Kitts Southeastern Shore of St. Kitts
  2. We choose to sit up top. Better views and the breeze will keep us cool. Waiting for others to load We grabbed the seats facing forward at the end of the car, behind the stairs. It was a wise choice! Ready to Rock and Roll! Get it? Rock and Roll? The car rocks as it travels down the tracks and the car rolls on the rails! Off we go!
  3. I was on the back of the cart. Much cooler trip to the shore excursion meeting spot this time around. What? Another train excursion? Wow! Time to head out! Turning into the train station Time to board the train!
  4. So we went into town, looked through some shops, got really hot, quickly got a souvenir then headed back to the ship. We did find out where our shore excursion was going to meet and decided that we were going to ride the cart when we came back. That way we were not overheated before starting the excursion. I changed shirts and drank almost a whole bottle of water prior to us heading back out.
  5. Our excursion wasn't until noon or so. So we got off the boat to 1. get our port photo and 2. go get a souvenir. Heading down to get off the ship Heading into town

  7. JC and GM Brian led the crew with Caroling in the Atrium. After the caroling, we caught up with JC. We last sailed with him in 2018 in Alaska. the night crew at the Atrium bar! One of the awesome photographers We had a wonderful Christmas, but we were tired. We decided to head to bed and to get ready for our action packed day in St. Kitts tomorrow.

  9. Since it was warm, we headed to the pool! I caught a great sunset from the pool deck!
  10. We made it back to the Port area. Due to it being Christmas Day, the Port area shops were only 50% open. It was getting warm, so we headed back to the ship.

  12. This was my favorite plane of the day! A Delta 757 is on final approach from Atlanta!
  13. After the flyover, we made our way up to the bar and found a table in the shade to watch Airplanes! Susan took this one as you can see I am filming this United flight coming in. At 12:25 local time on 12/25 it was 28 degrees at home, meanwhile it was 80 in St. Maarten! Merry Christmas to us! We got Nachos and pizza! Plus we got wearable drinks! I will get that next time we are there!

  17. Picture with Santa as we make our way back to the room! Gingerbread House at Starbucks We grabbed a drink before heading onto the Pier. Lining up to head to our excursion! A port picture first! We had a great conversation on the pier with the assistant Shorex Manager who we had interacted with in Alaska. She was saying she was already working on her shore excursions for the coming summer. Time to head out!
