The odd part is that Move Up has "Expired" all but one of our Bids @ approx 44 Days out & left one "Pending"...
There are still cabins available in the "Expired" categories 🙂
I am operating under the belief they liked other bids better & are holding them vs. awarding them at this point.
What I have not been successful in doing is getting Celebrity / Move Up to release my ability to modify/cancel my current "Pending" Bid - I can see it, by entering via my e-mail notification - but am not able to do anything with it.
At this point only time will tell -- I guess if we decide we want to cancel the remaining "Pending" Bid - we will notify Celebrity & Move Up, via e-mail, which will have a time/date stamp.
We'd only cancel if we were to upgrade outright for a cabin we wanted...
Best Wishes in your Move Up bids!!!
Exactly what's happening to us' my one "pending" bid is locked out so to speak - can't modify it or anything. If we decide to upgrade on our own we;ll do the same - email the MoveUp address asking to cancel our bid and have the date and time stamp.

This is exactly what’s happening right now to me for our 15MAR Eclipse sailing. Had bids on Sky, Celebrity and Royal suites. Sky shows as Pending and the Celebrity and Royal show expired. I’ll let you know what happens next.....

Check your cruise planner!! We are on the October 22 2020 sailing. I checked our cruise planner now and see that the cabin we booked onboard over a year ago has been changed to Guaranty veranda !! I just spoke to a rep who told me all cabin assignments are being reviewed because of the refurbishment as some cabins will change from 4 to 2 people etc and that cabins should be reassigned in a week or two and other changes of the ship may take longer.....
Exactly what I was told for our 15FEB21 Tampa sailing. We have an S2 booked and it's now a GTY.

We'll be joining you - our annual April anniversary cruise. Great price on Sky Suites right now while they last.
We just changed from 28FEB21 Equinox to the 15FEB21 Constellation - the Suite price was too good to pass up! It's 1 night less than our EQ sailing but we're going from Aqua with 2 perks to a Suite with all 4 for only $127 more.

Hi Everyone,
A quick question for anyone who’s experienced it recently! I thought that I had read somewhere that cruisers who were on back to back sailings were exempt from the muster drill at the start of the second cruise; can anyone confirm this?
I’m certainly not 100% on this but thought perhaps someone on the boards has recently done it. I’ll be on Silhouette in November from Port Everglades if it makes a difference.
Have an an awesome day everyone!

Are you on Silhouette 04MAR and 11MAR? I posted the EXACT same question a few days ago! It seems the consensus is between 900AM-1000AM they'll process the B2B'ers; but check in opens for the next cruise from 1100AM-200PM and we sail at 330PM. It seems to me a good day to enjoy a basically empty ship for a few hours.

Good Afternoon All!
We have a group of 8 doing a B2B on Silhouette in March (the two weird sailings where they disembark in Port Everglades on 04MAR @ 7AM, sail empty to PortMiami, we board and sail at 7PM, we come back to PortMiami on 11MAR and dock at 7AM, we sail again at 3:30PM, we disembark PortMiami on 18MAR after the week and Silhouette sails empty back to Port Everglades to board passengers again - WHEW!!!).
We're wondering if anyone on here has done a recent B2B in PortMiami and what the onboard procedure was - the time to meet on board to process the B2B'ers and things like that. I've read some other threads that they all met at 9:30; if this is the case our second cruise starts check in at 11 and we sail at 3:30 so it sounds like a good "stay on the ship day".
If anyone has some recent info I'd appreciate it - I would assume a B2B in Port Everglades would be close to the same procedure in regards to onboard and customs/clearing the ship?
Thanks everyone!
Jason

Regarding Eclipse, going to Alaska, the question remains will it do so immediately after coming from South America? That would be on April 8 which seems far too early for Alaska. So what will happen in the interim? We will find out soon.
Methinks Pacific Coastal cruises or maybe the return of 15 Night Hawaii roundtrips from San Diego? 2 anyway with a one week Pacific Coastal?

We are booked on the March 4 and the March 11 cruises on Celebrity Silhouette. I'm liking the port change for both cruises.
We're booked on both cruises too but our email notifications say $50 per person for the inconvenience on the 04MAR cruise but only $25 per person for the 11MAR cruise? Seems a little odd.....

If you're embarking it's at the Pan Am pier but on a day stop it's Old San Juan....

Jason, I thought Vancouver was hit with a bad winter until I saw the weather you guys had to endure this winter...Hawaii will certainly be a nice change and break from it all for all of us...
And what has it been doing for the last two days? Snowing. Come on May 5th; that plane can't leave soon enough! Our friends Martine and Valerie said they'll leave their husbands in the casino and be spending their time with us at the Martini Bar [emoji483]

Who else will be joining the hubby and I on this wonderful sailing? This will be our first time on a Celebrity 'S' class ship, as well as the first time with 5 days at sea. It should still be fun though!
Pat (& Paul)
Myself (Jason) and my partner Robert will be on board with three other couples who we cruise with - once we check Solstice off the list we'll have done all the main ships in Celebrity's fleet.
Can't wait to get through the winter in frosty Nova Scotia. Maybe we'll see each other in the Martini Bar?

I'm booking tickets today for Miami for a cruise on Celebrity Equinox that sails on the 16th. Leaving Halifax on the 14th and home on the 25th (smack dab in the middle of the Thanksgiving weekend). I'm getting a price of $416 CANADIAN return. With many less options out of Halifax versus Montreal your USD price seems higher to me....

So far details are still sketchy but Canadian airlines were never included in the past and don't seem to be now, either.
Last March we had flights with American Airlines and WestJet flying Miami-Charlotte-Toronto-Halifax (this was the WestJet sector). Luggage Valet worked then; bags went, claimed them in Toronto for customs and dropped them on the connection belt and got them in Halifax....

True blue Celebrity here for myself and my husband. On Solstice in May for Hawaii to Vancouver, Reflection in November for a Western Caribbean and Silhouette for a B2B Eastern & Western Caribbean in March (got to get the hell out of Nova Scotia in the winter!). Plus now with Celebrity Edge coming there's LOTS of holes in the schedule to fill!

Nope; ours are booked under the Go Big promo (we're Elite Plus so some of the perks are redundant). But whether it's Big or Best we still got it with our sailings. My husband is the family accountant so he scrutinized the invoices to make sure it was there.

I've transferred FIVE bookings in the last two months from ones booked on board to different dates and all my perks transferred over; it's always been explained that any perks on a booking made on board would be grandfathered into a changed booking but you pay prevailing rates.

I have a B2B booked for March 2018 and received a $50 credit on each 7 night cruise (not per person) as the discount. I think the discount goes up the longer the cruise.

I was under the impression that the total number of days on any cruise tour (Alaska, Galapagos, Europe) qualified. So a seven night cruise with a seven night tour gave you 14 point-eligible nights....

I usually go through and print a few select pages; like other posters have mentioned above. Air details if you did Choice Air, and confirmations of shore excursions or other things that have been prepaid, beverage package info if you have it and usually the page with the port agent info as well. But just in case as a backup save the eDocs as a PDF and email it to yourself if you have a smart phone to have it handy.

I think it's a weird glitch. I booked the 16NOV17 sailing a week ago and when my travel agent confirmed everything the Celebrity rep asked which perk we'd like with Go Big....

I'm not a big fan of hard sided. I work at an airport and see too many with big dents and cracks from one end to the other. We just bought new luggage and we've had it on two trips and are in love with it so far. TravelPro Platinum Magna 2. Lightweight but very strong and not tippy when the carry on spinners are loaded. And they roll like they're on ice - no effort at all to get them through an airport!

As of right now there are 10 S2's, 1 S1 and 1 CS - are they holding them to see if anything else comes in at a higher bid $$$?
