  1. We have been DVC members for 15 years and we don't get any kind of real discount on tickets. So we are on a Disney break after our Aug cruise will not return to the parks till the new venues have opened. Will not pay those prices to ride the same rides and see the same shows we have seen a hundred times before!

  2. Is there a Carnival policy on how often you can cash out from the slots or the daily limit? I see so much conflicting info and now you are saying they don't allow it without paying a 3% fee to cash out your slot player bank. I can't really find anything official on this. thanks for your help!

We were on the Breeze last February and you could still use your s&s card to transfer money into your account and then cash out without any fee!!

  3. We were on the Breeze in February and yes the scrambled eggs were horrible and they use the same eggs substitute in the omelets but they will make them with real eggs if you ask. Don't really expect great food when we are on a cruise but we really enjoyed the American table menu.

  4. Have sailed Disney and Carnival and the kids clubs aren't the same not even close Disney wins hands down. But we sailed the breeze in February and kids clubs seemed to have a lot more activities and larger spaces. If your sailing during spring break avoid 3 or 4 day cruises they tend to be a little rowdy.

  5. What is ridiculous: People buy bottled water that is for the most part taken from a municipal water supply somewhere. We have been deluded into thinking that it is somehow purer.

I wonder if there are any bottled water plants in Flint, Michigan.

Most is purer even if it's taken from a municipal water supply!! Maybe you should Google it before you make a statement like that. And yes I do work for a major producer of bottled water so I know a lot about how it's purified.

  6. Hopefully our August cruise on the dream will be our last. The daughter will be to old for all the clubs after this year and the price is just rediculous used to be able to drink my own alcohol not anymore and the adult activities are pretty lame. So double or triple the price cause I'll be elsewhere.

  7. Such a disgusting habit. Smoking will eventually be banned from all indoor facilities. Just a matter of time folks. :D

Already is in most states. But I don't think the government should be dictating to business owners what they will allow in there business. And I agree it's is a bad habit just like someone who over eats and is extremely overweight. And I don't want to hear it doesn't affect anyone else cause it does ever ones insurance rates are higher and when I purchase a seat on a plane I expect to be able to use the whole seat not share it with the fat slob next to me. Maybe companies should charge overweight people like luggage that over 50 pounds.

    Just stirring the pot!!

  8. I didn't complain to Carnival as I am a new cruiser with them, so not being from the US I wasn't sure about the law regarding smoking. Therefore, whilst onboard I tolerated the situation, but tried to avoid it as best as I could. So as a matter of fact, not more endless pointless complaining, just expressing an opinion and that opinion means it has a point. If one person has an opinion and a suggestion for change then it cannot be pointless.

If cruisers are flocking to Carnival because other lines are banning smoking then no wonder they are so willfully ignoring the rights of non smokers and welcoming smoking. If that is really their policy then it is hardly surprising that no crew member in the casino is willing to enforce the no smoking area rules and are so ambivalent to those who are flagrantly ignoring those rules.

I hope this doesn't seem like endless pointless complaining. Just having an opinion and a different view.

Carnivals where you should take your complaints to even if it was your first cruise with them that's the only way things change. And in the USA smoking is permitted at most casinos because they want people at the machines not outside smoking. To be honest I don't smoke but it doesn't bother me the short time I'm exposed to it anyways and if it does I have a choice to go elsewhere.

  9. More endless, pointless complaining. If you have complained to carnival about this they obviously don't care if you like it or not take your business elsewhere and maybe they will I'm betting not. Since other cruise lines have gone smoke free indoors smokers have flocked to Carnival. That keeps revenues up so it's not likely to change. And I am a firm believer that rules must be obeyed so if someone is smoking at a smoke free machine management should do something about it even though smoking machines are usually located within a few feet.

  10. I guess I should add that I am just off the Breeze and that since my last cruise on her in May of 2015 they have added smoking areas in the casino, you used to only be able to smoke at the casino bar and machines and tables marked smoking, the seating area near the bar was off limits. That seating area is now entirely smoking. I guess after seeing that it remained completely empty most of the time on our 2 previous breeze cruises they decided to open it up for smokers. It was a very nice place to sit and enjoy a drink and meet other smokers and smoker friendly people!

Was on the Breeze in February and the area was smoke free and your correct no one ever sat there but I guess they will now.

  11. I do like the casino so I choose to go in there. What I don't like is that there is nowhere in there that is smoke free. I cannot get to the cashier without going through the smoking zone and I cannot go into the supposedly smoke free zones because of the selfish attitude of smokers sitting at machines in those areas completely disregarding the signs not to smoke there.

The endless complaining maybe pointless to you, but if no one stands up for their rights or complains when things are wrong, nothing will change. I am not expecting Carnival to completely ban smoking in casinos, but do expect that the areas which are designated no smoking to be just that, as well as common sense planning in putting the cashier areas away from the smoking areas so that they are accessible to all.

    Have a nice day.

  12. You choose to go to the casino it's your choice. All I am saying is if you don't like it don't go or find another cruise line the endless complaining is pointless if Carnival sees there profits decline because of it they will change there policy. Have a nice day!
