This sounds awful...so sorry! Is the ship full?

I plan to cruise solo late in 2014, and I feel your pain.

Have you spoken to anyone about your $199 paid for nothing?

How's the condition of the ship? Is it due for a refurbishment, or has it had one recently?

How's the food? service? cabin?

Where are you in the world?

I'm in the process of setting up my 1st solo cruise!

I've booked a cruise three times in the last four years for my husband and me, and every time he has decided not to go! We lose money, I'm disappointed, we argue, and I go nowhere.

Sooo, I'm going on a cruise solo, and I'm really very excited. Love my DH, but he has zero interest in travelling anymore; life is short! I'm probably going in Nov. 2014 so I don't have to come up w/all that $$ (single supplement).

I love to cruise the Caribbean: leisure, pampering, the pool, my balcony, the spa, good food, a cabin to myself, ALL THE ROOM SERVICE I CAN STAND, the air, the sea, and hopefully people to sit with at dinner. Throw in a few good books and I'm one happy woman. :)

We cruised on the Reflection March and will be back on again in March of next year. She is a beautiful ship and the crew was outstanding. We had no complaints. I have photos of the Reflection in my link below.

I am interested in booking a cruise on the Reflection, balcony or better. I need your experience and knowledge.

First, please give your opinion of the ship in general.

Then, any specifics you want to address: dining, cabins, cost, pools, whatever.

Also, what's an area where the balcony cabins are that you'd avoid? that you suggest?

And, did you enjoy cruising on her? Why or why not?
