It is warmer January to May, but wetter March and April.

Thanks for the help. I did call Celebrity with all the 1 prompts but I ended up being transferred to Galapagos line and they confirmed 10 nights, but couldn't give me any email confirmation.
And I do see the dates listed equal 10 days plus the itinerary at the bottom.
That reassures me.

Anyone with a Galapagos cruise planned in 2025 or later on Xpedition or Xploration have problems switching their reservation to the Flora?
I was in an oceanview stateroom and am excited to get to go on the newer ship with a bigger room. I wouldn't have spent that extra money. They put me in an infinite veranda.
I had a 10 day northern loop booked and chose the 10 day inner loop, but on the website in my account it shows a 7 day inner loop.
I called my travel agent (with my CC) and they said their system shows I have the 10 day package, but that doesn't show on my end.
It makes me a little nervous.

Thank you so much for this info! Do you have any idea why NCL restricts the age on this (and literally every baths excursion) to 5 years old? The only thing I can think of is the walking, which isn't an issue for us.
Thanks!
I don't know. The walk down to this beach is fairly easy, just a small sandy slope in spots that they did tell us to go slow so we didn't slip.
Do you think it might be due to transportation and not being able to do child safety seats?
After the ferry, we rode in an open air bus/trolly type thing - similar to the taxis in St. Thomas.
But still, you could probably go ages 3+ with that reasoning.

Yes, that is a newer excursion. Spring Bay is home to a condo/apartment property but has never had any amenities for visitors. The topography is somewhat similar to the Baths, but the experience in the boulders is not as, dramatic, say, as the Baths.
Did the cruise line provide any kind of amenities for your time in Spring Bay? Or did you walk to the Top of the Baths or Mad Dog’s for that?
Sorry for the delay, I just saw my reply didn't go through.
The company they used for the excursion brought in a portable toilet. They also arranged for a lady that comes in and sells hotdogs on the beach. It wasn't included in the price.

They brought in a portable toilet and a lady who set up a hot dog stand.

When we were planning our cruise there wasn't much information about this NCL excursion, so I thought I would share.
Virgin Gorda Escape 4.5 hrs
They took us by ferry to Spring Bay National Park. We had about 3 hours of free time. It is a beautiful uncrowded beach, very similar to the Baths but without the crowds. There were huge boulders around the shore with a few areas to walk through and some shallow pools. You could walk further for an even larger beach area. The snorkeling was great; the water was so clear. They bring in portable toilets and a lady who makes and sell hot dogs and chips.
It is pricier but worth not having the crowds and being able to move at our own pace. We loved this excursion.

We were in Tortola in January from 8am-5pm and NCL offered something similar - Virgin Gorda Escape. It was listed as 4.5 hrs, with about 3 hours at Spring Bay National Park. It is uncrowded and practically identical to the Baths with the big boulders to walk around at the shore. I think they have their own ferry arranged. We loved this excursion!

Has anyone done either of these excursions through Celebrity?
The first one apparently goes to both Paraga & Super Paradise Beach, but the details do not elaborate on the length of time at each spot, if a sun lounger is included, etc
The second one appears to only go to Elia Beach.
I couldn't find much on either excursion (plenty of information about the beaches themselves, but not the excursions) and would love to hear any feedback from anyone who has done either.
@Ronaldo807 did you end up taking a Celebrity excursion? I am interested in hearing about the sailing. Was it a spacious boat? Do you sail long or is it mostly stopped at the beaches. I don't prefer hanging out on a crowded beach all day, but would love to be on the water and have a stop for a while on the beach.

okay.. thanks I see the benefit to the package so you have no worries.
I just had Jaime's Italian in my mind on RCCL where we had tons of food leftover.
And when we go to land restaurants we always split apps and desserts.

Since the specialty dining is only covered for the first 2 guests, is it best to buy a dining package for the 3rd person or can we just have the 3rd person pay a la carte for an entree?
Are the sides sharable or served individually on each person's plate?
We are considering Cagney's, La Cucina and Le Bistro on the Escape.
Thanks

Great! Thanks so much. 😊

My daughter is 5'9 1/2" inches. The last cruise sofa bed she slept on, she hung off by over a foot (different cruise line). 🤣
We are looking at a spa balcony mini-suite on the Escape. Is it a comfortable length?

We will be on the Dream. If we book a massage, does that include access before or after to the thermal suites?
I know some hotel spas allow you to come early before a booked massage to use their relaxation areas.
Thanks.

FTTF is a Carnival option you pay for to board faster and get in to your cabin early. There are other perks with it, but that is the general answer.

Kids are allowed. There just weren't many there. I'm not sure why. I wouldn't recommend it for children.
Would you mind explaining why you don’t recommend for children? They would be bored?? Rowdy atmosphere?? Thanks

Do any shops open early when the cruise ship is in port? We arrive at 7am. I plan on going to Holy Donut. Is there anything to do before 10am? The Victoria Mansion opens at 10am.

I'm also sailing New England in October. What about evenings on the ship? I'm used to sleeveless dresses.
Will the temperature around the ship be set cooler than a normal Caribbean cruise?
It's still hot here in Texas so the thought of wearing my sweater dress at night sounds wrong.

Question, does it give you the credit on your next Am. Exp bill? Or do you have to wait until after Dec.
From what I saw, the credit shows up right away.

I have the offer on my Platinum Business Card today. I added the offer, but don't want to make a payment on the cruise yet. It isn't supposed to expire until December. That shouldn't be a problem, correct? The offer stays on my account??

Porting at the docks in Colon and not entering the Canal has been SOP for years. It saves the high costs of actually entering the Canal, not to mention the time required...
Panama cruises have been confusing for years. There are full transits, partial transits, and docking in Colon. There use to be another option, but that version is gone; Christabol.
So, what about the Celebrity Panama Canal cruises? They pass through, correct? Would that be considered a full transit?

Virgin Gorda Escape - Spring Bay
in Tortola

No lounge chairs. We brought a compact sandproof beach blanket. It folds up into a little bag.
