  1. Balcony Cat BD Cabins 10890 & 10290 Shows HC access sleeps 3-4

Balcony Cat BC Cabins 11288, 11888, 13284, 13884 shows HC access sleeps 3-4.

Nope - do not hold more than 2. If you look at the deck plan, all they show is a rectangle for accessible. No symbol for third or more passenger. Believe me, I have been over this so many times with NCL. I told them they were wrong, that these cabins will have a sofa for a third person. As of now, they can only book 2 in these rooms. I was only interested in balcony or higher, not inside or window.

  2. I am so disappointed in NCL with this ship and wheelchair accessible cabins. None of the accessible balcony, mini or family balcony cabins hold more than 2 people. Huh? It is not like this on the Gem or Epic. I wanted to be on this ship but I have to either sail in a suite, which is double the price or an interior. Not acceptable to me.

  3. I am a full time wheelchair user and my home was custom built - some parts very open but I still have many rooms with walls.

Although I have not seen this CV, I wonder if it was an afterthought as they usually make the rooms larger to fit in the amenities. Let's hope the bathroom has some walls. My deluxe balconey has a bathroom with walls, surely, this one does, too.

I would rather book two rooms to have two separate sleeping areas, but that is not possible for a wheelchair user who wants courtyard access. It's a trade off that I'm not sure I am willing to pay. Maybe if pics are posted, I may think differently.

  4. Sorry Umbarger, you can't speak for all wheelchair users. If I booked this cabin at a price more than twice the cost of my deluxe balcony, I would be disappointed it does not have a separate bedroom for my son. A curtain, to me, does not replace the feeling of luxury with multi rooms.

  5. Does anybody know the bathroom configuration on the handicap balcony rooms on NCL Epic? The regular rooms have separate toilet, shower, sink. Thanks

The toilet and shower are in one room. The sink is separate, in the actual cabin but accessible. Do a search on the "Epic" forum for pics.
