  1. They follow the crews suggestions and end up in the crowded buffet for lunch the first day never knowing they could have a wonderful relaxing lunch in the main dining room. In fact I met a newbie halfway thru a cruise that never found the main dining rooms and insisted the buffet was the only choice for free food.

Hi, I am new to NCL. Is the MDR open on the Star to all passengers on embarkation day, or it only available for the higher Lattitudes levels?

  2. We are booked in an SJ suite for our next Panama Canal cruise, January 2015. We really enjoyed the breakfast and lunch in Cagneys and the hot and cold hordeores (can't spell) and the wonderful coffee maker. Hope they still have them.

Hi, Is there a charge for breakfast or lunch in Cagneys if you are not in a suite?

  3. well i had the same offer screen as original poster(pc1,pc6,7,8 all free rooms)but when i called they said they couldn't find them only my premiere offer. Hope this helps someone else. I guess it has to come direct to redeem.

Hi, does this have anything to do with the "Belize Navidad" Card I received in the by Mail and email? Does anyone out there know the details of that offer?

    Thanks.

  4. We are looking for a grocery store to buy orange juice or pop before our cruise. We have reservations at the Queen Mary the night before. Is there anything convenient to the port? We will be flying into LAX and bused to the hotel. Any suggestions?

Yes, the free bus goes to the Walmart, and I believe the Queen Mary is one of the stops on the free bus. There is also an Albertsons across the street from Walmart. I suggest you go during the day. We have used it several times when we stay at the Hyatt on Pine St.

  5. I got the same email and sent an email to Carnival to ask for more details. Have not heard back yet.

I emailed my PVP and he responded:

The MasterCard promotion can be applied for any cruise from January through May. The amount of the credit is what varies depending on the cruise you select. This promotion does end this month on the 24th, meaning the reservation would have to be booked before that date.

I will reply back to him to get more info. Has any one else received a response yet?

  6. We are looking at the Dec. 6th cruise to Hawaii. We have been on several cruises with our dd's, although most of them have been on NCL. We like cruises ten days or longer and are thinking of this one as we have never been. I was hoping someone who has been on this in Dec. could tell me if there were more than a handful of kids on board. I'd also like to hear if you enjoyed it. Thanks

Hi, we did the 15 day in January 2013. I think we were told there were 21 children on board. We saw one family doing homework in the afternoon on the lido deck.

The Cruise was great. The water was choppy on the 2nd or 3rd day way over.
