  1. Thanks so much for the replies everyone. I will keep checking to see if this is just a glitch. If not, I think we’ll just roll with it. It was kind of frustrating not to be able to pick a time a finish check in yesterday.
  2. I’m a little upset right now. I checked in for our Allure of the Seas cruise scheduled for 10/25 out of Port Canaveral yesterday. For whatever reason, when I tried to select a boarding time, no times would come up. I tried on the app and on my desktop with no luck. I called Royal and was told that there was a system issue and to check back in 72 hours. Well, I just checked again, and guess what? The issue was fixed all right, with only a 1:30 to 2:00 boarding time available! The problem is that I already have a shuttle service (Gray’s) scheduled to pick us up at our hotel in Orlando at 10:15 that morning. I’m not sure exactly when we will get to the port, and don’t want to be stuck outside for a couple of hours due to our late check in time. Should I call Royal and see if I can get an earlier time or just show up and beg for mercy?
  3. Hi everyone! My husband and I were on this sailing as well. Honestly left with the feeling we probably won’t be sailing with NCL again for a while. Our observations: The ship is seriously understaffed. The bartenders looked especially frazzled. The ship felt overcrowded- can’t imagine what it would be like at 100% capacity. If pool time is a priority for you, good luck. The chair hogs were out in full force! We opted for spa passes instead, which gave us a little but of peace. We had great dinners at Cagney’s and Ocean Blue. Six and Burn the Floor are terrific. Tendering back from GSC was a complete nightmare that took well over an hour and almost caused us to miss out on our Ocean Blue reservation. The smoke smell on decks 6, 7 and 8 is the worst we have ever experienced. I read this was an issue before we went on this cruise, but nothing had me prepared for what it was really like. Poor ship design. The internet was overpriced and absolutely terrible. All in all, we had a good, not great, cruise. I really think NCL needs to staff the ships they have before they add more to the fleet.
