On the Voyager now and it is not especially updated but not bad at all. The ship is in fine condition and will probably be due for new furnishings soon. Just want to comment on the great job by Regent in every respect.

And of course the original posts merely suggested a string quartet before dinner or perhaps classical piano.

The Voyager is docked today in San Juan next to Carnival huge ship and RC Symphony of the Seas. They have Disney World beat. Basketball courts, water slides, rock walls, many thousands of passengers. Glad to be on Regent.

Wendy, the original post was really just about live performance in different venues, perhaps a string quartet before dinner.
Anyone could attend or skip as they wish. Vivaldi anyone?
-
GoArmy, they used to play classical on the bow camera channel, but I don't think any more.

So far, there seems to be a solid majority in favor of more classical music offerings. Perhaps a string quartet and classical pianist. Cunard, Crystal, Oceania and other lines have featured classical with good success.

Two years ago on an Oceania Baltic cruise, they included a string quartet which played show music and classical in the lobby before dinner and at other locations throughout the trip. These were four young ladies from Ukraine and most passengers truly enjoyed the music. Regent has sometimes provided concert pianists who have been very popular. Since it is somewhat rare, would anyone enjoy more classical music on the cruises?

As you can see, someone moved the sign to the wrong side.😀

Some folks just prefer to walk the track clockwise as pictured. The Olympics, all USA tracks, and most international events are all counter clockwise. So I guess it is just personal preference (but some times a pain).

Are they all walking the wrong direction?

Mr Rumor, that little booboo will be just like repairing a Porsche, not too big but very expensive.

We've seen him many times, going back to Radisson days. Quiet and private.

They will make dairy free desserts if you ask ahead.

Keep the info coming and have a great cruise. You got out of Florida just in time since it is now much cooler and temps tomorrow only reaching 66.

The pool grill dinner is a nice experience and good alternative....with or without music. I hope they continue it.
-
PingPong right on! People who don't like the pool grill don't have to go. It's an option.
-
We enjoyed dining at the pool grill, especially the lamb chops. The grill offers a really nice alternative to more structured dining.

Agree with Marq. Chartreuse not that great, especially early when the band is still playing next door.

We hope she is all repaired and ready for the December 16 sailing.

It's not just you. The new format has obviously driven cruisers away. That is too bad because there are fewer posts and less discussions which are helpful and interesting for all of us. Can we get a revision?
-
Both cruise lines are excellent.
-
Much preferred the previous format. It was easier and clearer.

We are on this cruise for the second time Feb 1st. It can be windy and quite chilly. Take the winter coat.

I think Prinsendam is the former Royal Viking Sun, one of the best ships ever. But it was rebuilt by HA to lesser
design. We sailed all over the world with Dag, mostly on Voyager. Great fun and an excellent captain. All best wishes to Dag.
