We have been on two Celebrity cruises and just got off the Caribbean Princess. We liked the Celebrity a whole lot more than Princess. Probably will not go on another Princess cruise.

Our passports have our former home address in Victoria, Texas. We have since moved to Cuero, about 30 miles away. I called the phone number on our passports to see if we needed to update our new mailing address. The man there reminded me that our passports do not show our address on them. You just write in pencil the emergency contact person, where you are traveling, and home address. He said to just change to our address when we renew them. Glad to hear that! We just did a western Caribbean, but were more worried about our upcoming Panama Canal Cruise this fall. Didn't want to be left off that 16 day cruise.

We just got off the CB this morning around 10:00 am in Bayport. The ship docked a little before 12 last night, we watched it. The Captain announced late yesterday afternoon that they were hurrying back because the pilots were expecting fog. The casino shut down at 7:00 pm. On Monday after our excursion in Cozumel, the Captain announced that some passengers had come down with the virus. So, they started handing you everything at the meals. He said a couple days later that it had gotten better, but precautions were still be taken. The crew were continually wiping down everything with a bleach mixture. They stressed using the bathrooms in your cabin and washing your hands thoroughly. It never effected us, but one Lady told me her daughter had diarrhea and called medical (911 as directed by the Captain), and got quarantined to her cabin for 72 hours.

Thank all of you for replying to my questions. The balloons and small cake are a nice touch to the special occasions we are celebrating. We have their birthdays on Wednesday and Thursday, and our 38th anniversary will be Friday. This will be our ninth cruise, but first with Princess. They had a price drop when we were checking last minute cruises within driving distance, at Vacations To Go. Their mini suite was $400 cheaper than a balcony on the Norwegian Jewel out of New Orleans - and a lot shorter drive. It really was an easy choice for us. Looking forward to our cruise on the CB. My wife and I will be celebrating our 38th anniversary during our upcoming cruise on the Caribbean Princess. Our TA had it already listed on our Cruise Personalizer. Does the CB do anything to mark the occasion? Our TA is giving us a bottle of wine. Also, our daughter-in-law has a birthday a week before the cruise and our son 3 weeks after the cruise. They added them to their Cruise Personalier, and picked days during the cruise to celebrate. They were wondering if they will get anything from CB.
