  1. I do all my own research including the cabin I want. I'm very tech savvy and could book my own cruise if I wanted to. Instead I email my 30+ year TA who books it and provides me with OBC/Cash rebates of 5 to 10% depending on the cruise line. Why would I walk away from free money? During the pandemic we had multiple cruise cancelled and rebooked. She handled it all flawlessly with FCC's or refunds. I didn't spend any time and never lost a dime. But, to each his own. Happy Cruising!

  2. I've had the same TA for the last 30 years. She is excellent. Through Covid we had multiple cruises cancelled, most by the cruise line but a couple because we tested positive before the cruise. She handled all of the details with the cruise lines. She dealt with the FCC's to have them applied to a future cruise (we are booked in June for Norway for the 4th try, 2020 and 2021 cancelled by the cruise line and 2022 cancelled by us due to Covid 5 days before we were to leave - she took care of everything). She takes care of price drops, questions etc. and rebates some commission as well

I'll take my TA over booking direct but to each their own

Great Stirrup Cay. If you purchase the upgraded package onboard, can this be used to facilitate alcohol abuse on Great Stirrup Quay at no further cost?

Absolutely you can use it on Great Stirrup. We did so earlier this month

They say up to 24 hours no other rapid test available in my area I do have the at home test as a backup but I'm technology challenged have watched videos no problem with actual test but using laptop/phone to connect.

My wife and I have used this test several times. We usually have the results in less than 2 hours

You’re working with a travel agent.    You don’t get to curate your cruise activity on a website.   You made that choice when you decided to let someone else book it for you.   Now you will have to go to your agent for everything.

Let’s hope something doesn’t have a rub on your cruise on a Sunday and your agent just decides to take the day off.

Well, that certainly was helpful. Thanks

This maybe obvious but I need to ask: Did you go to www.msccruiseusa.com ?

Edit:  There's a drop box at bottom of MSC's home page that allows to change country/location/language.

Yes, that's the website I use. I had no problems accessing my account for my 2019 cruise.

  7. I live in the USA, I book my MSC cruises with a USA travel agent, but when I try to log in to my MSC account I get the following message,

You are not allowed to proceed on this site, please go to your country web site to proceed

I've gotten nowhere with MSC Support so I'm hoping someone here might have had this issue and could provide a solution or work around, Thanks
