When they sign your coffee card do they put the voyage number or the date? The cards say

As everything else that is abused and bragged about here....this will be changed as well.

That extra $5 goes into the tip pool so your waiter probably only sees about $1.50 or so if he's lucky.
It goes into the pool only if you add the tip to your bill. If you hand cash, it goes into his/her pocket

If you tip in cash it goes directly to the waiter. If you add it to the bill, it goes into the pool..

Interesting.. Where did you get info.. I checked Grand deck plans.. Prior to January 10 it states "No Balcony".. After January 10 it states "No Balcony No Rollaway" ???

They have tables for 10.. :)

Finally resolved statement credit problem.. Took a phone call and email but early this week my 150,000 points were converted to a $3000 statement credit. They checked and saw I just made a $4000+ payment on our January cruise.. Final cost of the cruise will be a little over $1000... Not bad.. :D:D:D
-
That was a wise decision :D
Mine is a small fraction of your total (and should have taken a screenshot) but I still want my statement credit. ;)
Me too.. $3000 is no chump change.. ;)

Astro... I took a screen shot showing me with 150,000+ points.. :D

Yup. It really isn't better. We used to get double points on all Princess charges and 1 point for all other charges. As you can see, now you only get double points if you spend around 4 grand.
You still earn double points for each dollar spent on Princess.. It is the redemption point value that has changed..

Anyone get the mailing stating that the Visa Card Program will be updated to make it more rewarding starting in early November. If so have you figured out if the redemption point value will be better or worse. I called Visa and their rep really had no clue.. Here is my example.. I am ready to make final payment of $4100 in November. If I make the payment this month I can use 120,000 points to save $1500 on the cruise. I cannot figure out what the savings will be if I wait until the new plan goes into effect. What will 120,000 points be worth after November is the question. The rep said more..:confused::confused:

Not a chance. Your gratuity doesn't even stay on the ship you're sailing, it goes to corp to distribute as it see's fit.
You are almost correct.. The Autotip $$ and any tips received by passengers that remove the Autotip are pooled with other ships in the same class and distributed. Any $$ given by a passenger that has not removed the Autotip is kept by the recipient. That is why you put your name & cabin number on the envelope.

Name of the Maitre D' please

Only the old MA Mini's are now M1 Club Class. Go here for all the info..

Anyone know when and what ship Princess will do a full transit Panama Canal going through the new Locks??
-
Problem is that quite often non-handicapped individuals purchase a HC cabin. What is to stop someone from purchasing a HC mini and demanding that they be given Club Class Access? Question... Are there any HC Full Suites? I do not recall seeing any.. If not, can a person in a HC mini demand full suite perks?:confused:

Faxed my stuff yesterday morning and it was posted before lunch today.

Then both of our filet mignon's arrived. COMPLETELY inedible as someone put so much salt on them you could not taste the meat. We ate the veggies.
Wondering why you say your steaks were over salted when they arrived. Every steak I have ordered at the CG came unsalted. This is because you are given the option to salt your own steak with 3 specialty salts; Hawaiian Black, Himalayan Mountain Pink and Smoked Apple Wood.

We had the full guide on our Hawaii cruise this past March on the Grand. We also had the channel Lineup Card..
-
Have no idea what others are talking about.. We have had one as long as I can remember. It is not all inclusive, not listing the news/sports channels but it lists movies and the other channels that are prerecorded like Love Boat, etc.
How many people prefer the Main Dining Room (MDR) over the buffet when boarding?

I heard no more MDR for lunch at embarkation except for Club Class & full Suite passengers
