We are boarding on Saturday and will expect the worse, don't think it will ruin our time but I hate being lied to. I really have to think about packing and getting ready to go because we are leaving Thursday and literally haven't done a thing.

So, it will be interesting to see, I will make an issue, one of the parts of doing this trip is seeing the paddle wheel. The person I spoke to was Sam so we will see, if he was told to give untrue information that is a company problem and I don't take lightly to it.

It is too late to cancel, even though we have independent insurance we might still be able to. We haven't packed yet.........

I called and was told that the paddle wheel is on and no ports will be missed.

Hope that is true.

Celebrity treats you like adults, that is why we love them. we each brought on 2 bottles they didn't say a thing, since we had the beverage package we never even opened them. Other cruise lines make such a big deal of it.

I have been reading all these posts. Our beverage package is classic and included, I don't care if I drink Bud or Dom, it is about the cruise and people making so much to do about drinking maybe better re-think their priorities.

It doesn't hurt to contact the insurance anyway...

Is it necessary to upgrade if you just like beer and wine and nothing fancy? We think it is such a great perk just the way it is or am I missing something? The drink package was the deciding factor between Princess and Celebrity.

Let us bring wine without paying a corkage fee like the other cruise lines.

I too am a quilter and found all the shops mentioned to be amazing, Skagway was the best, and the one upstairs in Juneau had great projects adn fabrics. We are going to Halifax in April and I have already googled the quilt shops. Have fun.
