I am onboard now and will be until 7/1. Is your cruise a 7 night?
This weeks cruise is a 5 night to Canada but the other 3 are 7 nights stopping in Port Canaveral, Nassau and Coco Cay. I just checked the menus for next week and it shows the lobster and the beef tenderloin is Day 3 Prime Rib is on Day 5. I will confirm next week in case it changes once the cruise is sailing.
Yes, we're on the 6/17 sailing. Thanks so much!

We have six rooms linked. We all selected the 10:30 boarding time, but now, 1/2 of each party has changed to 11:30? It is definitely an error on RCL's end. For example, my husband and I are both doing a connecting interior room with one adult and one child in each room. RCL changed the kids to 11:30 and my husband and I are still boarding at 10:30. Is RCL going to babysit my kids at the pier for an hour? LOL
My TA has assured me that RCL will accept everyone at 10:30, but I keep reading how important it is to show up at the correct time. The 10:30 boarding time is no longer available, so I cannot change everyone.
Any insight? Thanks!

1.) What night is prime rib and lobster night? I want to book my speciality dining and don't want to miss that night in the MDR.
2.) Is there a silent disco on board? I've only sailed Carnival so far and love the silent disco so much.
Thanks!

I kept seeing that this would be a thing today. So far, my excursion prices are the highest they've ever been. Any insight?
Thanks!

Hello! My husband and I have two connecting rooms, so each room has one adult and one child. I see the Cabana includes water park tickets and accommodations for 6. If I book it under my cabin, will my husband and other child also receive the water park tickets, or just access to the cabana?
And is this worth 1k? I've never been to Coco Key before, so the thought of having a 'home base' seems great to me, but I don't want to pay 1k if it's a waste.
Thanks so much!

There is lots to do for kids in Bermuda too.
What would you suggest? Budget is not the end all be all, but I do know I don't want to pay for theme parks at Port Canaveral and Coco Key.
Would the kids want to go to disney or universal while in port canaveral?
Would the kids want to do the water park at cococay? Also additional cost.
Nassau has a great excursion to blue lagoon.
I'm sure whatever you decide will be nice for the entire family.

Another couple questions:
Have you (and specifically the kids) cruised before with Royal previously? No! My husband and I have cruised Carnival 5 times, but this will be our first Royal. The kids have never cruised.
If so, which ships?
Ever been to Bermuda? It's been cancelled every single time I've had it booked. I am fearful of it's karma! LOL
Is this apt to be a one off or do you think future cruises are likely? Future cruises extremely likely
I do love Bermuda and recommend you visit sometime. Most kids will have a great time on Adventure to Bermuda, but I suspect Some kids (kid specific) who have sailed on Oasis class previously might be disappointed in Adventure. If you have not sailed RCI before and yet think you will again in the future, you could book Adventure now and squirrel that $1000 away as a start for the next cruise (perhaps Oasis class) or an alternative vacation if cruising does not suit.

These are the only two ships that work with our parameters. We'll have two kids, 8 & 6. Grandparents are coming too. Adventure is 5 days to Bermuda. Oasis is 7 days to Port Canaveral, Nassau, and Perfect Day and Coco Key.
The Oasis seems a bit obvious, but Adventure is 1k cheaper which is obviously a lot of money!
Any advice on which cruise I should book? Thanks so much!

Snag one how ? You mean for next to nothing to upgrade? Doubtful …..
No I'm happy to pay but not an extra thousand like they wanted a few weeks ago.

My cruise leaves in about 3 weeks. There are tons of balconies left according to the website this morning. I called a few weeks ago to upgrade and they wanted a ridiculous amount. What are the chances that I can snag one closer to the departure due to how many are still left? Any other tips? Thanks!

It's amazing, especially at the price point. I ate it every single evening during my Horizon cruise...lol

It's very simple. If Carnival wants to cruise to Bermuda, they need to follow Bermuda's rules. If Bermuda has these requirements, then yes, passengers will be expected to follow them.
Carnival has reportedly told people they're working on an agreement. I would like to know what is actually required sooner rather than later.

I can never remember which tests are which... is that proctored home test acceptable for this or that a diff type?
It would not meet the Bermuda requirement. It must be a PCR. Bermuda suggests rapid PCRs, which are costly.

I'm booked on the Legend to Bermuda in 6 weeks. I am hearing all sorts of stuff about the multiple testing requirements. Bermuda also apparently just pulled 4 passengers off of a Crystal ship there and are making them quarantine on the island.
Does anyone know if Carnival is still planning to go to Bermuda? I'm hoping for an itinerary change at this point, but I don't know when we'd hear about it.
Thanks!

The prime rib at Pig and Anchor is hands down my favorite, especially for the price.

I haven't been on the ship yet, but just based off of the Youtube videos so far, it's drastically smaller than Horizon/Vista/Panorama. What's the rationale?

I am absolutely shocked that they made it smaller on the new ship. It was the best selling point to me on the Horizon.

Feb 2023. Price is negligible. Will stay in Havana area on either ship.
Mardi Gras--7 day, Eastern Caribbean. Leave from Orlando, ports are Grand Turk, San Juan, and Amber Cove.
Horizon--8 day, Southern Caribbean. Leave from Miami, ports are Aruba, Amber Cove, La Romana, Bonaire.
Thanks for the input!

Is this true? We are booked on Mardi Gras but our friends want to switch over to Horizon for the same week due to the hot tub in the Havana area. The Horizon itinerary for that week seems better (to us) anyway, so I'm not upset about switching ships at this point but just wanted to confirm about the hot tubs. Thanks!

I'm booked for Feb 2023. LOL. Anyways, I figure I should purchase Cheers before the price presumably goes up. But I'd also like to wait until after Christmas if I can. I apologize that I don't spend tons of time on here, so if this has been addressed, sorry! I did search before I posted and didn't find anything but you know how that goes.
Thanks!

Mardi Gras is one night longer and $232 more expensive. Mardi Gras is Eastern Caribbean and Horizon is Western. Sort of seems like a no brainer to go Mardi Gras but just wanted to hear other's opinions. Thanks!

What did you like about the Havana cabins? I hope to sail in one soon! Maybe Feb. 2023! 🙂
The private pool and hot tubs were just so much nicer than feeling like you're packed in like sardines for the regular pool and hot tub area.

Thank you!
When are things added to Cruise Planner?
in Royal Caribbean International

I booked the Icon for 2025. It's getting old checking daily with nothing available. In general, when would you expect things to be added to the planner?
