  1. Just want a beautiful beach, book, lounge and maybe a cocktail. With bathrooms near by.

We have all day so we can taxi anywhere. Just two seniors looking for a beautiful

quiet beach day. I read about Cable, Cabbage or Junkanoo

    What's the difference

What do you suggest. Don't need a AI but will if that's what we must do,

Any nice tropical beaches anywhere ?

  2. Loved the GS yes you have a full menu. Fun to have your family enjoy a breakfast with you just remember sometimes room service food is not real hot. Concierge was wonderful. We went several evening for cocktails prior to dinner or stopped by in the morning for free latte. I didn't use her services other than that.

Our balcony was so big. We would order room service snacks cheese, pizza chicken and enjoy our wine we brought we actually had 16 people one evening prior to dinner just had everyone bring their own drinks

Yes your family can preboard with you.

You also have a reserve seating section in the theater. Your family can join you there also.

JS gets you really nothing. Other than points and a little bit larger cabin. Not really that special

Go for the GS if possible. It's worth it

  3. A lot depends on the ship, itinerary , and time of year.

You didn't say are you looking for quiet relaxing or more of party time. You also didn't say is this a young daughter, college or mature. That's makes a difference on itinerary also.

My favorite cruises have been on Royal and Celebrity. And yes they do offer MTD which means you can dine when you want .

As far as formal both cruise lines have options if you prefer not to dress up.

I don't think you will be disappointed with Royal or Celebrity

  4. We took girls on a Disney land/sea it was great fun but they were 6 and 8. Loved all the characters and princess on the ship. But at 11 and 13 they are done with that They have really grown and that is not so exciting. They prefer water, swim ,action , music Typical pre teen. So they loved RCCL so did I. I got tired of tripping over high chairs in the dining rooms

    You won't be sorry.

We also took them on a four day carnival. That was way to much of a party boat. Won't do that again .

We are waiting to book a 2015 and I don't really care which ship itinerary is what we go for.

  5. We walked to a nice hotel ( can't remember the name ) Bought a day pass and had a great time. Beautiful pool and beach. I walked to the straw market and didn't feel threatened just annoyed they were so aggressive. The beach water is beautiful.

Try a ship tour if that would make you feel safer. Atlantis is also a pretty place.

Now if you think that's a hole don't ever go to Ochoa Rios I felt that was the worst place ever.

We ended up spending all day at Margarita villle They have a fun swim up bar and a beach with guards. Now folks there are real aggressive . The minute you walk off the ship
