  1. I am sure Customs will want to check luggage coming off the ship prior to the debarkation port.

Of course, but will that have to be Melbourne, the first entry into Australia? The debarkation port is Sydney.

I seem to remember we got off the ship early once and the customs check luggage on board. Also it is overnight in Sydney, which I would think guests would be leaving the ship over the the two days.

  2. Hi, hope this helps.

Have you felt more rushed with my time dining as opposed to traditional dining? No

Do you lose the sense of great service with my time dining, as your waiters can change? No, the wait staff are normally very good.

If you have booked for the same time each night, will they give you the same table and waiters each night, or will it change night to night?

You can request the same table and they will try oblige.

Do we need to arrive at 6.15pm on the dot or is there flexibility to arrive 6.30/6.45 for our reservation, as long as we are out by 8.15pm?

If you have booked for 6.15, it is polite to be there, if you are sharing the table with others.

If you are not sharing, you risk not get the same table.

Go well and have a ball.

  3. Hi we are traveling from Auckland NZ To Miami. We are going to break the trip with an overnight stop in Houston and travel on to Miami the next day.

Having very limited experience with US airlines, some of it not very good. We are yet to book the flight from Houston to Miami. What airline would you recommend? Hopefully one that we can upgrade.

  4. Again Australia as been exclude from the latest promotion from Celebrity. Just try to book a cruise in the Caribbean in January 2016, including the new all inclusive 123go promotion, only to be told that Australians are not eligible. We need to make more noise about this injustice and get Celebrity to treat it Australian customers the same as the USA customers. I am sure there is a reason why, but it escapes me.

  5. booked B2b Aussie to Hawaii 17 days and then Hawaii to Mexico 10 days, X would only give me the package on the 10 day leg.

Something to do about being from New Zealand, TA is currently on the case. But a TA company in the US will give me the 17 day package and $100 OBC, so we will see what happens.

Hi from Australia, Do you have to deal with Celebrity in Sydney or have NZ got its own office? We are booked on the same cruises as you are and Celebrity Sydney say there is no way we can cancel and re-book and get this offer.

  6. I've spoken to the following parties whom have given me the following responses

-Celebrity Sydney - i didn't actually speak to but was on hold for longer than what i had time for. They did reply to my facebook post - & was told new bookings only

-my TA (who i've booked with)- same deal

-my other TA is happy to proceed with the booking & confirmed i will be eligible but i have to cancel my original booking first to be able to book through her. Unfortnutal i will only be able to get $50 off brochure price (other TA was able to get me $100 off). But it does give me the bev package which i planned on purchasing. I will lose my $300 OBC offered my X for my original booking.

Now... i am awaiting confirmation that they will be no cancellation penalties on my original book & need to find out if the other cabin of choice is available.

Hope this helps any other aussies.

If i'm missing anything in my attempted venture, please let me know!

Hi again, I was told by Celebrity Sydney, that cancelling and re-booking was going to be checked for. I wish all the best, I hope it works out for you. Regards
