We were there just last week on the Sky. As a port/day stop, Princess docks in the Old Town at the "San Juan Cruise Port Terminal". GREAT location, the Old Town is a wonderful location.
I'm hoping it will be Old Town. If it is Pan American, we wll probably just stay on the ship. Thanks!

Anyone know which pier is generally used by Princess in San Juan? Thanks!

Try Charles & Charles Rose
Is that the whole name? I searched Total Wine, but didn't see anything similar.

I'm sure a wine connoisseur may have a heart attack reading this, but I've been know to mix a cabernet or pinot with a moscato to get a pretty good sweet red. On NCL ships most all the bars have moscato, so was easy to order one of each and mix together, but haven't noticed any Moscato on any of the wine lists for Princess. I do plan on bringing 2 bottles of Barefoot Red Blend, but that won't last 8 days.

Any sweet wines onboard? Moscato, etc...... I noticed a Red Blend on the menu, but not necessarily sweet. Thanks!

Hubby and I just did the Optum BinaxNOW test yesterday. Quick and easy and received the official Negative report within 5 minutes. Next time (if testing is still required), I want to try the BEEPERMD.COM test where they come to your home, results within 15 minutes and it's free! Anyone here try it yet?

We are cruising Wednesday on the Grand. It is through the Casino and we got a Balcony, Princess Plus and 250.00 casino credit and 150.00 Onboard credit. All we had to pay was Taxes and port charges (130.00). We get similar offers at least 2-3 times a week. And, no, we don't play that much. We play what we would if we were paying for the cruise or not. We've been pretty lucky on several cruises and ended up with more money than we started with. I think they are so desparate for passengers, they are practically giving cruises away.
If you have played in the casino at all, call the following number and ask if they can do anything for you.

We are on the Wednesday sailing of the Grand to Cabo. Anyone know if they have Tito's Vodka at the bars? And if they have any sweetish red wine? Thanks!

Apparently, NCL does not require a mask indoors. The Breakaway had 17 cases of covid yesterday. I'm glad Princess is much stricter in their requirement.

I am unable to save emergency contact info. I have every box filled out, but the save is greyed out. Help! I want my documents section to be done.
Mine did that also, it was because I didn't click on the +1 for the phone number. As soon as I clicked it, I could save the info.

I'm almost afraid to post this (knock on wood), but had no problem entering required information on both mine and my husband's phone apps. Everything went smoothly and we are good to go!

I ordered the below wristlets with card holders. You get 6 different patterns and theMedallion goes on the clasp. I can take my ID and a credit card with me. They are super nice and convenient for the price!

Anyone know if the casino is open while in Cabo? Thanks!

Anyone ever have a problem bringing a 1.5L bottle instead of two 750's? Thanks!

Is the Internet service unlimited? Or is there a minute limit? Thanks!

Not sure if I completely understand your question.
Antigen tests are the only ones we've ever done at CVS. Going through the online "fill in the blanks" to get to the part where an schedule appointment can be scheduled, various qualifying questions are asked. Insurance information is also required. Presumably, if one has insurance, that carrier is billed. If not, then Uncle Sugar is billed. Either way, the antigen test is zero cost to the customer.
I expect the same is true for the PCR test but this only supposition on my part as we never taken a PCR test at CVS.
If I've misunderstood your question, please ask again.
Here in Vegas, if you pick the PCR test it is free, but turnaround is 1-3 days. But if you want the rapid response antigen test (15-30 min result time), they charge you @$130.00. Just wondering if those of you who reported getting your results so quickly (15-60 min) paid or got the test for free?

Wife and I have each had 8 antigen tests completed at our local CVS without a single issue.
In each case our test results were emailed and texted to each of us always within 2 hours. Usually in less than an hour.
YMMV
That said, I have 6 proctored home tests still in their original unopened boxes right next to my desk. Just in case.
We will happily continue using CVS. Unless they fail us.Was that the free test or paid quick response test? Thanks!

I also looked into this AMEX offer, but according to the fine print it is only good on the reservation payment and not available for prepaid gratuities or other items unless booked at the same time as reservation. I guess if you haven't made the reservation yet it might work.
"Excludes if not booked at time of reservation: airfare booked through cruise line, excursions, prepaid food/beverage programs, prepaid gratuities, prepaid wi-fi packages, spa packages, photo & video packages, onboard celebrations, luggage valet services, travel insurance, vacation protection, motorcoach program, charters, meetings and incentive bookings." -
From the Princess website. There is a link at the end to order the test.
Vaccinated guests may use a medically observed self-test (sometimes referred to as home test) that meets the following criteria:
- The test must be a SARS-CoV-2 viral test (nucleic acid amplification test [NAAT] or antigen test) with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Please note, antigen tests are accepted for fully vaccinated guests, but not for unvaccinated guests.
- The testing procedure must include a telehealth service affiliated with the manufacturer of the test that provides real-time supervision remotely through an audio and video connection. Some FDA-authorized self-tests that include a telehealth service may require a prescription.
- The telehealth provider must confirm the person’s identity, observe the specimen collection and testing procedures, confirm the test result, and issue a report that meets the requirements of acceptable proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Princess has partnered with Optum so that U.S.-based vaccinated guests can order an FDA-authorized at-home antigen test kit, shipped to your door in 3 business days or less. These at-home tests include a personal virtually video-supervised visit with an eMed Certified Guide through telehealth services. These guides will help you properly administer the test and verify the results, within 15 minutes. The lab result report is delivered via email and can be printed or displayed on your mobile device during check-in. Please place your order with enough time to be shipped prior to your boarding. Order your test kit online.

If you bought the BinaxNOW 2-pack from Optum, did you and another person use the 2 tests or is it just for 1 person? Thanks!

Since the return to SP is late for every sailing so far, I wonder why they don't leave an hour or 2 earlier from Cabo.

The last time we did the UBD, the main waiter brought his assistant waiter and asked if we would like him to sing for us. He was a participant in the crew talent show and was really good! So said sure! So while we ate a wonderful meal under the stars we were personally serenaded by a super singer! Such a great memory!

For those of you who booked through the Casino, were you able to use the $200. deposit you got back in the casino? Thanks!
Is your cabin mate included in the casino offer "Drinks everwhere"?

Thanks for your replies! I did finally find the answer in the small print on the confirmation. It is only for me. And I did see where it wants to charge you for 2 people if you try to add it online. I may try to call the casino people and see if they can add it to the reservation. Thanks!
