You live in Las Vegas and you don't want to be tempted to gamble?
Big difference between walking down a floor or 2 and driving 15 miles to your casino of choice. We only go once a week for 2 hours. Not tempted otherwise. But since we don't do the shows or most other evening activities, the casino does call.......

I not know for sure. I have never seen a Celebrity casino open on over night stays. Most countries want cruise passengers to spend their money off the ship.
I know they are opened after 9:00 pm in Bermuda.

Ok-I'll ask.
Why are you hoping not? Attendance isn't compulsory.
So I'm not tempted at least 3 out of 12 nights.....

Anyone know if the casino is open during overnight stops in the UK? I'm hoping not.....

Are you all actually asking for a payout of OBC? Or are you just going to the cage and asking for a cash advance? I ask for a cash advance. It goes on our account and like every other charge on the cruise, the balance is lowered by whatever OBC we have. Our next cruise is totally free from the casino, and we live in Vegas, so not exactly a casino novice. I'm just trying to let you guys know that there might be a different way to get your OBC.

Anyone have any luck bringing alcohol onboard after purchasing in the Duty Free Shop at the pier?
-
It has always been Nonrefundable OBC.

This is all really strange. We've been cruising for years through both ship's casino's and land casino offers. We always go tot he cashier and take out, say 400.00, which goes on our onboard account. Whatever is on the account is lowered by whatever onboard credit we have. I've never had a problem with the OBC being credited against a cash out from the casino. Our last Celebrity cruise was last November, has it changed since then?

If you booked through an agent and not directly with NCL, can you still call the upsell dept? Or have to go through your agent? Thanks!

Super! Thank you!

Forgot to ask when I booked a Comped offer through the Blue Chip Club if drinks in the casino are included. Had a 30 minute hold to get through, so prefer not to call again. Thanks!

Just got off the phone with them re the NYE cruise offers. Got a SUPER deal - OV GTY for 80.00 pp. Here's the number I used 1-866-461-7170.

Just not a dry wine fan. Anyone aware of any sweet/Semi sweet reds available on NCL ships? Or should I just bring my own? We will be on Escape and we have the UBP. Thanks!

Just started researching our next cruise on Escape next month and have come across tons of references to Food Republic (all good). But I have done several searches and can't come up with anything that actually explains what it is. Anyone have a menu of what is avilable? Recommendations on what you liked best? Thsnks!!

So what is the technical distinction between sandals and flip flops? Are we talking rubber shower thongs? Or does any flat shoe with exposed toes constitute flip flops?

Anyone know of a car rental place in Long Beach that has a shuttle to the San Pedro Pier? I know that Enterprise is in San Pedro, but they want an arm and leg to rent at LAX and return to SP. It's less than half the price to return to most rental companies located in Long Beach. Or how about a Taxi from Long Beach to San Pedro? Thanks!

We are doing a LA to Vancouver, BC the last week of April. Anyone have an idea of what the weather will be like? Thanks!!

Has anyone actually received the letter with the future cruise credit amount?
-
So what does happen if you say you had been sick or around someone sick on the medical form? Always wondered. Do they not let you on the ship? Do you get a refund?? Lose your money if you don't have insurance?

We've done several of the Caesar's sponsored cruises on NCL. One little tip for anyone hoping to get more comped off their final bill is to make sure you and spouse are under the same credit card for final bill. We've only been married a couple years and usually used separate credit cards. On last night of the cruise when you find out how much they will comp, it was going to be close to 300.00. But when we got the final printout the next morning, we had each only had 30.00 taken off. I managed to track down the casino host and was told that since we had separate credit cards on file that was all she could do. Didn't make any sense to me, but apparently they have separate ways of calculating your comp as single's and couples. So, of course, we make sure to use just one card now.

We've done a Lido deck inside cabin on other Princess ships. Like having a humongous balcony! We're doing the 15 Dec '21 Cabo sailing, also on Lido, but have a balcony.
