I agree. Also the Eagle Rays. We have done these twice before and one of us is on the high side of mature, hence the interest in shorter tours. Didn’t mean to suggest that they are not awesome.
Thanks for clarifying. -
Thanks. Hadn’t thought about that rationale.

Has anyone found a snorkeling tour in Bora Bora that just goes to the Coral Gardens. No Rays or sharks as we have done these before. I have found one option so far.
-
I assume this is a place you can walk in off the beach. Can you say where and how you got there from the ship?

Does having the wine with meals option reduce the cost of a beverage package?

I have just snorkeled Tahiti and Moorea.
Tahiti is not worth it. Moorea is just pure paradise.
Tons of coral and fish in 1 foot of water.
I saw a manta ray too.

How do you snorkel in 2 foot of water?

That screen is from the website. Log into your account, select the sailing and the select Plan My Cruise.
I don’t get OBC. Wonder if what is unused came from my TA.

Thanks. I am not seeing this.

Mostly from Celebrity

It may be different in different parts of the world, but our combined OBC has always shown on My Celebrity when I log in to my account.
I wonder if my problem is because I am on the Canadian Site. It doesn’t show anywhere. I might try phoning.

Is there a way to find the current OBC balance for a January cruise. I have looked everywhere I can think of without success. I am sure my TA could find it but I don’t really want to bother them.

We will do it in the ship. We are 4* so get the discount. I only asked as we like a bottle in the cabin and aren’t going to pay to carry it on.

Thanks. We have booked it for the round trip with a 2 hour stop. No inexpensive options that really work for us. There are 3 of us so that helps a bit.
I looked at the train. The two I am with will both have walking issues. So I am trying to reserve their energy for the site with the taxi. I had looked at the train first but was concerned about the walking both ends.- 1

I’ve never run into long lines to purchase a ticket for Herculaneum, and I especially wouldn’t expect them in November. Just plan to purchase at the gate.
Thanks. Very helpful

Do staff still get a benefit if wine packages are bought in the dining room?
-
Have they reinstated the Mariners lunch. Seems to me that they haven’t had it for quite a while as it had been open to all. Not that that is a huge difference in HAL!!

We are visiting on Nov 8 from Salerno by taxi. I am confused whether we should purchase our entry tickets online ahead of time or at the gate on the day.

What time is your flight? Cruise lines usually offer a tour with airport drop-off if you want to see something (or something more) of Rome. Of course that's dependent on having a late enough flight....
We are going to fly out of Pisa around 530 but the train isn’t until 1115. We have done the tours before but in this case it doesn’t work.
-
Very true. We don’t want to push the envelope just have a decent plan. Storing luggage near the port seems to be rather hit and miss from my research.
-
Wondering if anyone has done this trip. The newer (fb) trains take 2 hours and the older RV takes 3. Anyone been on one of these older trains?
-
We will be disembarking in Rome in November. Dicks at 7 am.
As there are only late flights we will be in no hurry to get off. Is 930 likely to the latest that we can expect to get off? -
Thanks. Maybe we did go elsewhere to a beach and I have just forgotten. Sounds as though the bus is a good bet so we can do that to Whalers.

It is years since we have been to Maui. I thought last time we were in Lahaina we did have a dip in the ocean fairly close to where the tender dropped us. I also remember a horrendous lineup in the street for security to get back on the ship!
Am I incorrect about swimming at Lahaina or is it ok. Just not as good as other places. -
My experience is that whenever an organization is under stress the first casualty is customer communication. Of course this is the worst response but it is what happens time and again.
Simply More and Wifi
in Oceania Cruises

I am confused if these have any relationship. In some of the sailings they offer some deal on wifi and it is mentioned in the same section as Simply.
I have nothing listed in the invoice where it shows the beverage benefit and the shore excursion credit so I assume I am out of luck for wifi.
