Love the extra room, larger closet, and bigger bathrooms!

I was on the first cruise with the new menu. I did enjoy the food in the MDR. I usually know what I want to order before I even get on the ship. It was strange for me going on a cruise and not have everything preplanned. I went into it very open minded and was just as happy with my dinner as any other cruise. There was some of the past foods and some new. You can say that there are some old favorites you miss, but I did not fixate on what was missing, but on what was new. I think it will only get better as Carnival learns from experience. Enjoy your cruise.
Love this review and your outlook! Can't wait till May for the Glory.

Now with FTTF, we drop off our carry-ons and head for a drink and some lunch;)

With kids it is so much easier for us with anytime dining!!

We always arrive the day before for that " just in case" moments;)

We have always had great food and service in the Steakhouse.

My kids love the a Dream! So much for them to do;)

Can't wait to try the Glory in May! We always cruise the first week in October as well since that is our fall break here.
-
We have only had once with pop up showers. But there is so much you can find to do inside to not even worry about it;)

My family has always had a great time on the Dream!

We booked our May 2014 cruise while on our last cruise (end of this past September). At the time they did not offer the ES rate due to other specials going on but last month I was able to catch it online and change it over to the ES. I check quite a lot andd have found that the ES rate comes and goes quickly now. I noticed it was up again today though when I pulled up prices so you can still grab it.

Totally agree!! I get just as excited every time;)

Its on deck 5 right before the piano bar. How it works is if you book a cruise while on a cruise you get onboard credit. For example if you book a 7 day you get 100 dollars OBC.
Same place with same deal....just did it this past September;)

Have a great cruise! The Dream is one of our favorite ships!!

It's really not a bad way to start your morning even though there are no hot items. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony drinking coffee, eating bagels and cream cheese, fruit, yogurt, etc. If you need some protein, there is even salmon to choose from.
Later, we did the breakfast buffet or MDR when we were ready to venture out.
This is what we do every morning as well! One of my favorite things is drinking my morning coffee and danish on the balcony;)

We missed it the first time we were going there:( Hoping to make it coming up next May!!

Thanks for the review....can't wait to read more! Single digits off our next a Dream trip!

Thanks to all for your wonderful replies. I believe our choice will be the Dream because of our 8 year old DD and the live music choices for my DH.
Time to book...I saw an extended aft available on Deck 6
Susan
You will love it! Our youngest is 8 and she loves the water slides they have on the Dream.

We haven't sailed on the Legend yet, but we LOVE the Dream! We also enjoy listening to a live band and I think the Dream has the BEST live band we have heard in a long time and doe's not compare to any of the other ships we have been on.

We have a Spa room in a couple of weeks and can't wait to try this!

Gong to for sure try the Twilight Zone on the next cruise, sounds awesome! I am not to picky as I like all of them;) Love a good Martini and Bloody Mary!

We think it is soo worth it! We always check the menus ahead of time for the MDR and pick a night that we are not crazy about and book that night in the steakhouse. We have always had great food and service!
