  1. I was on the first cruise with the new menu. I did enjoy the food in the MDR. I usually know what I want to order before I even get on the ship. It was strange for me going on a cruise and not have everything preplanned. I went into it very open minded and was just as happy with my dinner as any other cruise. There was some of the past foods and some new. You can say that there are some old favorites you miss, but I did not fixate on what was missing, but on what was new. I think it will only get better as Carnival learns from experience. Enjoy your cruise.

Love this review and your outlook! Can't wait till May for the Glory.

  2. We booked our May 2014 cruise while on our last cruise (end of this past September). At the time they did not offer the ES rate due to other specials going on but last month I was able to catch it online and change it over to the ES. I check quite a lot andd have found that the ES rate comes and goes quickly now. I noticed it was up again today though when I pulled up prices so you can still grab it.

  3. It's really not a bad way to start your morning even though there are no hot items. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony drinking coffee, eating bagels and cream cheese, fruit, yogurt, etc. If you need some protein, there is even salmon to choose from.

Later, we did the breakfast buffet or MDR when we were ready to venture out.

This is what we do every morning as well! One of my favorite things is drinking my morning coffee and danish on the balcony;)

  4. Thanks to all for your wonderful replies. I believe our choice will be the Dream because of our 8 year old DD and the live music choices for my DH.

Time to book...I saw an extended aft available on Deck 6

You will love it! Our youngest is 8 and she loves the water slides they have on the Dream.
