Look at Rome in Limo web site. They have links to tours to & from port. And also other places in Italy. I’ve used them for 10yrs. Your roll call should also have info

would recommend to anyone planning to sail on an NCL ship either just before or just after a dry dock to change their plans, if possible. If not
I’m on Getaway for her last cruise before drydock. She arrives in Copenhagen on my bday May 22

I will be on the first Getaway cruise post dry dock on June 6 and wondered if anyone knows what the dry dock will include.
Thanks - Tony
I’m guessing/hoping USB outlets near bed. That’ll make me happy

Why tear out something that hasn't been a problem?
I agree with you. I was reading about one ship. Prima maybe, where they have time limits on use of hot tubs on private decks. It sounded like the hot tubs weren’t even worth putting in. But Getaway had them for years and never had a problem so hopefully not.

Well, I contracted for a hot tub (retired attorney here). You could try to get a straight answer from NCL. But, who knows what last minute changes NCL may make! However, I don’t think they would still continue to advertise the cabins one way, while reconstructing them.
We’ll have to wait till June & her first cruise after dry dock

they take the hot tub out, I’m not sure what would distinguish these rooms as Haven. They are already
I agree but Getaway is doing a dry dock in May. I know Joy has cabins outside of Haven no hot tubs in those cabins. But they are much bigger. I want to book one of these cabins. I just wish they had elevators just for the Haven like on Prima.

Does anyone know if Getaway will get rid of hot tubs in old spa cabins? What will they do will the old space? Sofa? Thanks everyone

That might have actually been me. Since I've never provided one, I may well have forgotten that they asked. I plead senility or alzheimers. But since I'm in no condition to remember, I can't tell you which one it is.
In your phone contacts you should have ICE info. ICE is in case of emergency. I have 3 ICE contacts. Their names, addresses & phone numbers. I’m a retired cop when we get into victims phone we always look for their ICE contact info.

I just don’t know how the the couple from SC that’s been on all the tv channels and on all the newspapers can ever go on a cruise again. They smeared their own name. Such experience cruisers yet they let this happen. Today the Australia couple are on the news. Enough you guys screwed up & hopefully learned a lesson. Onto the next scandal.

On ncl.com click on "Destination" and you'll see it has an alternate option, "Port of Call", so toggle to that and then select "New York". Then click on "Port of Departure" and you'll see the originating ports for ships calling on New York. For TAs select the European ports on that list, currently Barcelona, Lisbon, London (Southampton) and Rome (Civitavecchia).
Ohh thank you

The NCL page shows ports of departure but not arrivals. How to I find out port of disembarkation? I’m trying to figure out repositioning cruises & TAs that land back in NY. I know the time frame for most TAs but am confused if I’m missing something

@smilegirl07 every time I’m in Italy I use Rome In Limo for transportation & excursions. They have vans for more people & are very helpful. They give discounts if you book more than 1 excursion including transportation to & from port or airport. Haven’t used them in four years. I don’t get paid for this, but I truly believe in them.

The Leaning Tower is not at all worth it in my opinion. There is no other reason to go to the city. Walk to the tower, and walk back to the train station (or whatever transportation) is the extent of the visit. I will never return and definitely wouldn’t have missed out on anything had we skipped it, but YMMV.
True but it might be a nice short visit for the kids. Unless they are doing the long day into Florence

In Livorno the Leaning Tower of Pisa is only 1/2hr away from the port. Might even be less. However Rome is a good 1.15 or more from Civitavecchia. Depends on traffic. I would take the kids to see Leaning Tower of Pisa.

There is a link in my post 657 above to find out where you are docking. Once you find your ship, click on the ship’s name and you will get the information that I posted that shows you where the specific dock number is.
Thank you I’m arriving on my bday. I’m so excited to see Copenhagen. I’ll be there for a few days. 🥳🥳

"What is most info" about transport to Andersen Hotel? - most likely that the ship docks at Oceankaj - it is 20 minutes by taxi (40 minutes by public transport) - another option is Langelinie which is about 15 minutes by taxi.
If you provide the ship and date, it may be possible to find out which terminal.
Thank you for your help. I just googled port of Copenhagen to Anderson Hotel & that’s what came up. I’m on NCL Getaway arriving May 22 my birthday 🥳

Hi everyone I did some research but still don’t know what port our ship docks in. I was looking at transport to Anderson hotel. Most info says it’s only 5-6 minutes away. Can anyone advise?

NCL does not really use the "boarding pass" for anything. No real value to saving it in your wallet. At check-in, they are really only looking for the spelling of your name. Once you get to check-in, you are handed your real room key.
You seem very upset with “techie” people. Some of us don’t want to print out & waste tons of paper. As easy as it is for you to throw away a piece of paper, it is for us to just delete from our Apple wallet. Ohh & it’s screenshot not screen capture. Relax it’s about cruising, not whose way is better

Just booked a 2night stay in Copenhagen for next May. Can’t wait to experience it. Think I’m going to stay at Anderson Hotel. I like trying hotels that aren’t chains. My cruise ends in Copenhagen. I need to read this whole thread. Need to find good coffee shops. I’m MariaBella
