I am wondering if it is random. I had previously put in mid-range bids on 6 different cabins for my Symphony Cruise last week and was so sad when I got 6 Rejected emails the night before sailing!

I was just going to ask how late in the Royal Up game we would find out we were winners or not. Honestly I just did it for fun, perfectly happy with my inside cabin but we'll see what happens.  Sailing April 6th on the Rhapsody of the Seas;)

  2. I read an article about a man who missed the ship in Nassau.  He stated he had his birth certificate with him while at the Atlantis. My question is,  how many of you bring your passport/birth certificate on shore at port stops? Honestly,  in probably 20+ cruises, I have never brought anything but my Drivers License  and cruise card on shore. I am usually a cruise line excursion purchaser unless we're just shopping or going to the beach. Just wondering  🙂 28 days and counting

  3. I tried to search for the answer but I'm horrible at searching . I am booked and paid in full for our sailing in April. I'm wondering if I can add a person to our cabin. Currently we are in a 2 person only cabin, and we got a fantastic deal on this sailing. Will Royal Caribbean allow me to add on a person and will they change my price to the current rates? Thanks in advance

Oasis class has breakfast for free in JR.  There's a cover charge (I think it's around $9.95/person now?) for the rest of the day, and shakes are probably around $5.

Someone else can confirm the cost -- I always eat lunch in the MDR on sea days (gotta love Tutti Salad!), and have only ever eaten at JR once in all my cruises, mainly to say that I've done it.  Personally, I can get better burgers, fries, and onion rings at home for less money, and I'd much rather have a Tutti Salad for free!

Are the shakes included in the deluxe and/or refreshment  drink packages ?

I don't think that's correct.  Everything I've heard is the arcade system is separate from on board account, so the only "limit" you can set would be with the kids themselves.

Thanks for the information,  so if I get my granddaughter an arcade card she wouldn't be using her seapass card right?

  6. I've been on 7 RCCL cruises and just as many CCL cruises. I am not a super picky person nor am I a foody. 😋 IMHO both lines are good and I love them both.  Royal does have better entertainment , but that's not to say that I don't enjoy Carnivals entertainment.  The food is close in quality in the MDR, however  specialty restaurants,  I would give it to Royal. Carnival has friendlier staff.... Not to say that Royal doesn't have a friendly staff. I have enjoyed every cruise I've taken.  Last one was Carnival,  next one is Royal. 😎
