Thanks guys. Appreciate the positive remarks. We are thinking about the cruise in about Mid May, is that a good time.
Travelling from Australia and just trying to get this trip all in order.
Kind Regards Bob.

Hi Holland Cruisers.
Is the Koningsdam a nice ship to cruise the inside passage to Alaska from Vancouver. Newbies researching for our big trip in May/June, 2024. Thank you.

We are doing the 28 nighter, Sydney to Sydney on the 7th March. I believe we can't get out boarding times till 45 days out from the cruise NOT 60.

I would love to know why there is an accelerated number of cruise ships stopping at Eden?
Eden is a well known village on the NSW South Coast for both New South Wales residents and Victorians. In the past many cruise ships going south from Sydney would stop at Melbourne and now that seems that this city is often by-passed for Eden and I am scratching my head as to why? It certainly is NOT for the various options for excursions.... is it for cheap port charges and or saving on fuel?
Cheap Port charges I would suggest. Same reason nearly all cruises stop in Noumea.👍

We are presently on the Coral about 24 hrs out heading back to Brisbane. Weather partly cloudy with some sun. Wind and sea up a bit however not to bad.
Not quite sure whether the captain has deployed the fins or not. Coral is performing well.👍

Great, we have 28 days of sailing around Aussie on the Majestic in March, 2023.

Can anyone please recommend any hotel under $200 that has its own bathroom???.
Kind Regards Bob 👍

We mainly walk along the Broadwater, but go to the dog park in the afternoon, if dogs need a run.
We should have a cruise critic meeting at the dog park (like the Canberra people do).

Good thinking.👍

Agree with you. All the long cruises, which I have done, were on big tables of well travelled interesting people. I would hate to change tables every night and go through the introductions all over again. You can always ask to be shifted if you aren't happy with your tablemates. In fact we had one middle aged couple who joined out table because we were obviously having fun.
Hi guys. Do you guys live in Hollywell??

We recommend THE VIEW.. It is situated near the Harbour with Magnificent views. Northern side of the Harbour Bridge. Catch a train right there at North Sydney to the Quay. Breakfast superb and rates are very reasonable.

Hi Princess Cruisers.
Doing a 7 nighter from Brisbane to the Barrier Reef in November.
Jumped on the Medallion and booked the 2 speciality restaurants on the Coral. All went well with the bookings however they were charged to our credit card. As we have OBC were we going to use it for the diners.
Does anyone know if this can be rectified please??.

Hi guys
Not Princess, however doing a 12 nighter from Brissie in May, 2023 of 12 nights on the Pacific Encounter ( P & O ) to the islands including 2 Fiji ports.
I agree Princess should put on some new itineraries perhaps fiji, cook islands ect. 👍

I thought about that possibility after I posted my comment. This is probably the most likely scenario - that a crew member contracted the virus while ashore. BTW, crew were allowed to go ashore prior to this outbreak. The fact that nearly all the COVID cases are crew members makes this is the most likely cause - not passengers lying about their RAT test results.
I think that hypothesis is spot on 👍

So portcbob if you decline this cabin change and they offer you nothing else, will you cancel your cruise and demand full refund in CASH ?
Makes one wonder with all this cabin reallocation as to just how many cabins are being reserved for covid victims.
I suspect quite a few Les

Sorry my mistake, have been moved from our aft Emerald balcony to BOW balcony up higher which we won't take due to motion.
NO, it's not an upgrade and yes wectold our T/A 18 months back when we selected our cabin, under NO circumstances we wanted no where near the bow.
Problem is this cruise has been booked out for months and nothing is available.🥵

Hi fellow Coral Cruisers.
We are booked on the Coral Princess for a 28 nighter around Australia in October, 2022.
We booked cabin E724, aft on Emerald deck 8.
Yesterday I found out that our cabin had been moved by Princess without notice to a top floor cabin at the stern. This is unsuitable to us as the wife gets sea sick.
I rang my T/A who had no knowledge of the change. Princess were contacted and the only cabin they could offer us was worse.
The ship is full so this will be a deal breaker for us.
PS. Anyone who has got Emerald deck aft cabins booked, check your booking because you won't be told.
Apparently they are using these cabins for Covid.
I know the cruise company can change your cabins but hey a bit of customer service would of been nice. Had this cabin booked for 18 months
NOT IMPRESSED.
