  1. Yikes! I’m a big fan of the Sanctuary & usually book the entire cruise. I was a little concerned when I saw the photos of the Sky ultra modern loungers. They certainly did not look comfortable to me. I’ve booked  the Sky 1/4-1/18. Hopefully there will be some comfortable loungers. I wonder if we could give some feedback to Princess. Not sure who to call? Thanks for taking the time Carolyn to share your Caribbean Princess experience with us.

  2. I was able to up grade to an angled (larger) balcony C2 Concierge cabin on deck 10, from a balcony cabin on deck 7. The price of the C2 was less then the balcony cabin, and a larger balcony. A win for me. Cruise is on the Equinox in June.

    That’s a great win-enjoy your cabin & cruise!

  3. Last April the Concierge class cabins were invited to a sail away on the helicopter pad with the officers & champagne at one of the ports. The views were beautiful & a great venue for photos as the ship left port. We also received a nice tote beach bag. I think it’s worth upgrading to a Concierge cabin after final payment when the prices drop a bit!

  4. It's a shame the Regal itinerary does not include the ABC islands. I would have a hard time going back to an older ship. I enjoy the Regal & Royal so much. Unfortunately the Royal will be moving to the West coast when the Sky comes to Ft Lauderdale. Princess it's time to change the itinerary's for the newer class ships!!!

  5. Be sure to let your cabin steward know during the first segment that you will be moving to a different cabin so he/she will be prepared to help with the move.

Basically you will pack everything except your hanging clothes. (Don't forget to empty the safe.) The steward (or a helper) will move your suitcases and the hanging clothes to the new cabin, likely before 10 AM. If you wish, you can leave the ship to do an excursion (on your own or with Princess) and when you return, all will have been moved.

Wonderfu! Thank you for the detailed information.

  6. The first question is whether you'll even have a B2B Customs meet. This depends on the port/country where the B2B occurs as well as the number of cabins doing B2B.

As to when the move will occur...the new cabin host needs to get that cabin cleaned and ready for your stuff. When that has been accomplished' date=' they'll take your stuff to the new room. Then they can clean the "old" cabin and get it ready for new people. The only thing you know for sure is that you'll get an instruction letter in your cabin a couple days before the change over.[/quote']

    Thanks so much!

  7. I have B2B cruise in December with 2 different cabins. I'm assuming a cabin stewart will help move to the new cabin on another deck. What time does this take place? Before or after we go through the B2B custom meet.

  8. This review has been wonderful! Very well written and awesome photos. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your trip and thoughts. I will be on the Reflection for the first time in December. I've been on five Celebrity ships and looking forward to this Reflection 14 day cruise. I've added your itinerary to my bucket list.

I hope you have a great time in Tuscany! Question about the casino-I've not had much luck with

slots-do you play a particular machine?

  9. Deck 6, mid ship, Concerto, except on disembarkation day when it is Allegro.

All DR times are shown each day on the back of the Princess Patter. Disembarkation day dining times are shown in the disembarkation information.

    Thanks!

  10. We were at Sapphire on 2/21. The beach is narrow but there were 2 bars operating and chairs were available. I think it’s was $9.00 each for the day. One bar has a great Painkiller! Beer was $3 or $4 and Coke was $3.

The sea was rough and we had some rain move through while there but overall, I’d go back. Beat being at work!

Thanks for the update! I'll be in St. Thomas in April.

  11. We went to Emerald Beach on Feb. 10th 2018. We used the facilities at Emerald Beach Hotel. Great views, calm seas, chairs were 7 or 10 dollars depends on location. Beach bar up and running and you can use the restrooms. Only down side is that there was some rocks in the water.

Thanks for the update. I'll be there in April. Always have enjoyed Emerald Beach.
