Because of your wonderful review we decided to switch to a YC inside. I just got my confirmation and it says that it comes with the Classic Drink package, not the Deluxe and that it does not include Gelato. Is this correct?

Hi Bob,
Thanks for taking the time for this wonderful review. I am currently booked in a Fastastica angled balcony with a upgraded drink package but now wonder if I should upgrade to an inside YC. My 2 concerns are space, since we are 2 friends sharing the room and the fact that I am prone to motion sickness so I usually book by the aft elevators and the YC is in the front. After reading through your review I am so tempted to make the switch. Do you think it is worth it and can you tell me is you felt more motion in the YC?

Do you think the YC inside is worth it to change from a balcony Fastastica?

I understand that there are 4 free restaurants on Breakaway. Is the menu the same in all 4?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Manhattan, Taste and Savor all have the same menu.

I am also looking for the same info. I see you already sailed, can you give me any input?
-
Looking for info on Deck 11 to see where the entrance is to the studios rooms and if there is more than one and if there is one on the port side or only starboard side.
-
Can anyone tell me where the entrance to the studios cabins is? Starboard or Port and what room number might be by the entrance or if it can be accessed by both Starboard and Port sides.
-
Thank you! :)

Can anyone tell me the difference between the connecting cabins and non-connecting? Do you lose anything in a connecting cabin? Specifically looking at Cabin 11567. Any input would be appreciated.

We are sailing Harmony In April on Eastern itinerary and are wanting to look over dining room menus to decide which nights to eat in Specialty Restaurants! Thanks!
Here are the menus from my December sailing. Sorry didn't make note of desserts.

Read on cc that Diamond gets a discount off drink package so no need to pre-book. Well on board now and discount only for D+ and pinnacle :(

Just a quick note to let inquiring minds know that I am onboard the NOS and having a wonderful time. Ship is clean, staff is friendly, food is good albeit maybe not as many selections in the windjammer, but I have not been disappointed. I am a luxe traveller and I am not disappointed. Just returned from private excursion in Curacao called Resort for a Day. It was at the Santa Barbara Resort. What a fantastic find. Also, we did the Chef's Table the other evening and everyone please note that it takes place in the Windjammer. Everything great however the location could be improved on. We have dined at Izumi (great) and Giovanni's (good). We also did My time Dining on the first formal night and were pleasantly surprised with the attentive service and good food We are in an OS and love the space and the bed is comfy! Concierge Lounge is small and the Diamond Lounge is big and beautiful. Half way into the cruise, I am giving this 2 thumbs up! We are in Aruba tomorrow followed by Bonaire the next day and then 2 sea days. We are really enjoying this relaxed itinerary. I will post a full review when I return home. If anyone has any quick questions, I will try to answer in the next few days. Happy and Safe travels!; :)Pam
Any chance of posting the MDR menus?

We will be going on the Eastern Route. I've seen a couple of different menu versions on here, one had BBQ Ribs on Day 1 and another did not. Does anyone have the current main dining room menus?
This is what is was on my December Eastern sailing. Sorry I didn't make note of the desserts

I believe that I read through this review and maybe 1 or 2 menus were posted but not all :( I will have another look though, just in case I missed something. Thank you :)
For anyone who is interested I did just re-read through entire thread link posted by leinhto and only menus for night 2 and 4 (Italian night) were posted, along with some specialty restaurant menus. I know night 8 is second formal so lobster tail night. It does look like Navigator is still on the old menus, which is disappointing

See this post. It is buried in there somewhere.

I was gonna say that I would post them when I return but I see we're on the same cruise. Guess we will find out together.:)
Thanks for the thought :) Hoping the MDR menus are the new ones that I experienced on Harmony in December

Thought I'd try again.... Can anyone post the MDR menus for Navigator 9-day itinerary???

Hi All;
We are booked with a large family/friehds group for a wedding during the cruise. The Travel agent has us all booked with early seating, and has assured us that we will all be seated in the same area during dinner, so that we can switch up seats, etc. during the cruise. I don't see our reservation online linked with anyone else's, so I am not sure how this is being done.
However, I usually book my time dining, and now that the early seating has changed to 5:30, I am even less thrilled about this.
If I find that our group is not seated together, can I switch to MTD once I am on board?
Thanks so much!
I am on the 2/3/17 sailing and also was annoyed with the dining time change. I did contact me TA who told me that there was room in MTD however I called RC dining first to see if they could accommodate us at the dining time I wanted before I allowed my TA to change us. As it was they did not have the same time available every night. The only times available were 5:45 most nights 6 or 6:15 on a few nights or 8 pm. You might want to check with RC before you move your dining and then can't get the time you want anyway. Good Luck

Was wondering if anyone who has sailed or will be sailing on the Navigator 9-night itinerary can please post the nightly menus for the MDR

I would love the menus for this itinerary

We always choose the stairs when it's say 5 floors or less (up or down)... so much easier! I don't understand it myself. The ladies' bathroom metal can was quite awkward and WHY???? Obviously an after-thought, but how it is POSSIBLE it's an after thought? So bizarre. Can't they hang the wall kind after the fact? I kept slamming the door into it. Oh well. I realize nothing is perfect. I'm not disappointed, but not as thrilled as we were with Oasis last year. The rudeness factor was unusually high. I also came home to very sad news that my most favorite dog of my life has to be put down and I just put down my horse 5 weeks ago. So I wasn't really going in and out of it with a happy heart. Plus, the 9 hours in the airport coming home really sucked, too. These are not RCI's fault; but just was not my year for a cruise.
So sorry for your losses.
We also spent 13 hours in the airport. We flew Jet Blue and while we were not happy we understand it wasn't their fault but we did get an email saying that they were compensating us for the trouble, which I thought went above and beyond since it really was not their fault.

Have you noticed if there are the same discounts offered on drink packages and internet packages as there were on the cruise planner, or are they full price on board?? Thank you for looking. We are traveling next week, and I am still contemplating on buying now or waiting.
I was on the Eastern 12/10-12/17 and there were no discounts offered on the drink package however on Day 6 they were offering a 10 drink - drink card for $59+18% (approx $70 total) that you could share.

Elevators!
1. There are so many I don't understand how they are sometimes so slow.
2. Why do (physically capable) people ride an elevator one floor?
3. Its not the elevators fault that you board an elevator going up, but you want to go down (no, the elevator isn't broken).
4. Wait for people to get off before you try to get on.
5. If you walk up to an elevator lobby where there are people already waiting for the elevator, wait your turn to get on when it arrives. Despite the name of the cruise line you are not actually royalty.
My wife did mention something about the women's bathrooms, but luckily the men's restrooms were fine.
Glad you brought up #2. I found that quite baffling as well. Also I got in the elevator on 16 to go down to 6 with coffee or I would have taken the stairs and a mother got in with a stroller, which was fine but her husband and 2 other kids squeezed in to to go down one floor
