  1. Hi All,

I'll be sailing on the Pride on 3/6 and with a group of people...wondering how we can all stay in touch and figure out plans on board.( Was hoping the HUB app would be available for the Pride by this time, but nope!) Is the WiFi on the ship free?

I saw the new internet plan details but just want to make sure I have this right:

For $5/day we can access apps like Whats App and Facebook Messenger etc. and I assume that can be via our cell phones? - so WiFi, but it doesn't say that specifically.

Has anyone sailed recently that would know any more info on this?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. So we are traveling with a large group and wanted to book an excursion where we would all go. Looking at the Sands Brewery, downtown and shopping tour through Carnival. We have a 16 year old in our group and just want to make sure she can go, just not drink obviously.

All the website says is "must be 21 to drink" so I assume it's fine. but wanted to see if anyone knew from experience.

    thank you in advance!:)

  3. That is why I haven't booked anything yet for that day just because I'm not sure about the theme parks due to the travel back and forth and having restricted time in general.

I'll browse other options or maybe we'll just stay on board that day. But after 2 days at sea we may be ready to get off and do something.

  4. For our cruise' date=' Aquatica is still $99. They are owned by the same company as Sea World, and it is an AMAZING water park. I think March would be warm enough in FL for it, and shouldn't be too crowded to experience the whole park in the time you have. And, unlike "dry" theme parks, when it's time for the bus to leave, you probably wouldn't want to stay that much longer anyway.

One of their highlights is a clear tube slide the runs through a dolphin tank.

We considered it, but the high on Jan 13 is forecast to only be 66 in Orlando. One of the reasons we waited till the last minute to decide was to see if it was going to be warm enough for Aquatica. Didn't think it was going to be, so we didn't really consider it to be a realistic option. But March might be OK.[/quote']

I did see that was still $99. I've never been there so wasn't sure how it would be or if it was worth the trip, so thanks for the insight! I'll have to talk to my group and see what they think.

  5. Yeah' date=' I noticed that price increase also. Actually, it was such a jump, I wasn't sure whether the price really increased or it was faulty memory. Thanks for confirming I don't have early senility.

That price increase helped nudge me to Kennedy also.[/quote']

Nope not just you! I know that price is making me look at other options now, but not sure what else to do.

  6. We will be in Canaveral in March on a cruise and I've been watching the Seaworld Excursion because that's what we wanted to do. Today I was going in to price out our excursions and noticed that that one went from $99 to $134.99...what are the odds it will go back down? Even if we wait to book until on board?

I knew I should've just booked that one!

  7. Hello!

I think we are going to book the excursion but does anyone who as done this tour know if my friends' 16 year old sister can come along just not drink obviously?? Want to make sure before we all book this one.

thanks of your help in advance :)

  8. Oh I usually check on the prices daily so I don't miss anything! We have a pretty good TA/Wedding planner for this trip so it makes my mind at ease. I have my booking number just wasn't sure where to input that to make it show on my account.

I'm glad I can book excursions through Carnival too, the one we want is cheaper through there anyways :D

  9. Hi all!

I just booked a cruise for March through a travel agent. Not usually my first choice but it's my best friend's wedding cruise and we had to use the agent for the group rate and such. No biggie but I've always booked directly with Carnival so not sure how this works. Will I be able to see my booking through my account with Carnival? They used my VIFP # so I would think so. I would like to book shore excursions though Carnival and not the agent because the prices are cheaper with Carnival surprisingly. I've tried searching for an answer but can't find one. Anyone here know how it works?

    Thank you!!!

  10. Hi all!!

I am an experienced cruiser, my husband went on his first cruise with me last August for our honeymoon. He loved it even though he was a bit skeptical about it at first. But now we are planning a vacation with our best couple friends for winter! However they have never cruised and usually go the all inclusive route for vacations....they know we love to cruise and are considering trying it but are concerned about getting sick on the ship due to motion sickness. I myself don't get any form of motion sick so I have no idea how it would affect anyone with this issue. My husband does a little and he was fine on our cruise, but he wore those little ear dots the whole time.

Any of you avid cruisers affected my motion/car sick usually but fine on the ship?? What can we tell them to asure them it will be fine?

    Thank you!! :D
