I ordered Tuesday and got the order cfm and I paid for expedited. Weds when I got no shipping info, I called and they cfmd it was transferred to UPS and I would get Friday. Today I called and for some reason UPS supposedly didn’t pick them up so if they don’t come by Monday I get my expedited fee back. At this point I am worried they will never arrive

We used two email accounts. One account we both have access to on our iPhones (for her), and the other a gmail account (for me) which I also have access on my iPhone. This way she has access to her results, and I have access to mine and also both on my iPhone.
Thanks

I went to the E Med site, created an acct using my personal e mail. There is a spot there at the sign in page to switch accounts. When I clicked on that I was prompted to enter the ither account holder's info. What if DH and I each have the same e mail? I have not set his account up yet but if he needs a seperate e mail, we will need to set this up

Ok, so at 4 am, 2 days prior to embarkation, when we are ready to test, we open the e med site, follow the prompts and begin testing. Once 1 person is completed, we sign out and re-sign in to complete the next test, and so forth for all travellers? Or does it stay on the sign-in page and you just move on to the next person?

I've taken multiple emed tests. In my experience, every pdf test result has been Greenwich Mean Time or UTC. If that remains true, a test taken at 9pm Pacific time on Tuesday should be dated early a.m. Wednesday.
what about Central time?

Thank you all...great information and additional questions!

For those in the know...I don't want to assume they are and have a nasty surprise at 4 sm when I plan to test. Is it longer wait times at that early hour? (Fewer staff...like a night shift often is?)

That will become available at usually 45 days prior to your cruise and you can do it using the app ( easiest) on on the web. Withe app you just scan in your passport while the web requires you to type all the info. The link you see will become active at that time.
In the app choose your sailing and click the Head Silhouette and it will give you the exact date it is expected to open.
That totally worked! Just a couple more days!

Good morning fellow Cruisers...I am trying to be pro-active in assuring everything is ready to go for our Alaska sailing soon. Back in the day (pre-Covid), one would go onto Celebrity's site and fill in their passport info, arrival stuff, etc. I cannot seem to find this anymore. Do I have to wait until my check in is available to fill in these trip details? Seemed like I could do that in advance before. Thanks
-
I suppose they wait until last minute for money making purposes but still would be nice the know the bid was accepted...for excitement value. When does move up bidding become available? Is it better to await an invitation to bid on a move up or offer a bid when move ups become available? ( saw something on line on my celebrity but it said not open for move up bids...sailing too far out?)

I booked a cruise last Friday. 3 calls and 6 total hours on hold since, they FINALLY got the reservation right. I will never book with Celebrity directly again.

Ugh, swipe left. What a downer report.

I did it! Thanks

Happy 4th to my fellow Americans! I have downloaded the Arrivcan app to my Android phone. I have read the 'how-to' on uploading travel documents and vaccine info. In those directions, it says to open the app and go to "travellers". I cannot find this link anywhere on the site. Also cannot enter travel information until 3 days prior? This seems inconvenient when we will be busy driving, flying, and cruising 3 days prior to arrival. Am I missing something here? Is it better to use on smart phone app or web site on lap top? First world problem but kinda frustrated. Thanks in advance.

Curious...where does the testing place?

You can watch it on your stateroom TV and then designate which passengers watched it. You then go to the Muster Station and they scan your card.
Really like the idea of watching it ahead of time. So...if I understand correctly, we could watch it day of only? but can see it on the app, perhaps, in our hotel prior to boarding?

My DH and I watched it on the same device this past Sunday. It asked who watched the safety video and we marked both of us. We watched the video in the terminal as we waited to board ( and the emergency signal). We found our. Muster station first thing and then we were done.
At what point prior to cruising is it avaiable to watch?

Misha go to covid.gov/tests. They will send you 8 tests to each address FREE. 2 addresses you get 16 tests. You can order every other month. Thus get today and you could get more in August. Lots easier than insurance. I have no idea why anyone would buy them thru Celebrity. If you really want to use your insurance then go to your local pharmacy and give them your insurance card.
You can use at home or for cruising with a proctor service. I use Rapid Test and Trace but there are some two dozen companies. Charges range from $15-40pp. They then email you a certificate for boarding. Each proctoring company has its own rules. Rapid Test wanted 1 account for the two of us.
Interesting...so one does not HAVE to use the Binax antigen test per Celebrity site recommendation?

Hello fellow cruisers. I have had my head in the sand with regards to testing prior to sailing. Our ever changing environment and rules has me sitting on the back burner, so to speak. Since our September cruise (first since pandemic shutdown) is sneaking up on me, I suppose it is time to start paying attention. If I order our test kits from Celebrity, how does one get insurance reimbursement? (Pretty sure mine covers but will find out for sure). And, does each person in our party need their own proctoring account? In other words, there are 2 couples, do we need 4 accounts? What about 4 seperate e mails for results? I have watched some you tube proctored sessions. It seems like a lap tap is easier to use than a phone? Thanks for any info you can offer

I don't think that they're actually "sold out". I seem to recall reading somewhere that iHealth simply stopped taking future appointments and got out of the proctoring business. I could be wrong.
So this is different than E med

I know people have mentioned IHealth for proctored Covid tests but they appear to be sold out right now for appts.
Has anyone used On-Point Testing Company? It says you can use any test and they proctor it for you and provide official results needed for travel.
has anyone used them? Looks like $25 each. Still cheaper than trying to use EMed??
We are sailing in September, our first since Covid shut downs. The 'sold out for appt' confuses me. Am I to understand that if we purchase covid tests for our sailing that we have to make appointment for proctoring?

The only useful point of information to be had here is each guest has to complete the muster on their own device.
May I ask a clarifying question? DH has to download the Celebrity app and watch the muster drill seperately from me? We, being in the same cabin, are not able to watch the video together on one device?
TIA
