Ok, this will not be for everyone, flights could be expensive,Seychelles return 7 nights all inclusive .To get the rate, I think you need to call & not book on line.
I booked today, a "solo gty"
Dates 25th Jan & 1st Feb $1,300 & 15th Feb $2,200.
This is so good its possibly a mistake, so if interested call Crystal.

Recently noticed that many of the Crystal cruises on there website have the solo prices.Although far from inexpensive, many items that are extra on other lines are included on Crystal, also there staterooms are a minimum O/V & a good size .
There are a couple of extended European voyages in 2020 that are very well priced & give us time to arrange flights, possibly on air miles 🙂

Have you considered Emirates?
They are a good airline & fly direct from London one way for around £300
Try Skyscanner.

I've done 3 cruises solo with Crystal, and loved them.......I have 2 more booked for the coming years. I actually preferred the traditional dining seating and I am not at all looking forward to the open seating dining; I hope it will work out OK. As you can tell from the responses, we all want different things -- some people want the flexibility to dine with new-found friends, and others (like me) want the familiarity of traditional dining to avoid having to re-introduce myself each night to new people, and also to benefit from having the same waiters each night who will get to know what I like or don't like. I made several new friends on my last cruise who were not at my dinner table, and that was OK - they preferred to eat later, I preferred to eat earlier, and we still had lots of time to spend together. Sharing dinner wasn't a requirement.
With traditional dining, solos were usually given seats at a table with other solos, and I believe the Maitre D' sort of grouped them by age and hometown region. If the table was not to your liking, though, you could ask the Maitre D' to change tables -- either to a table where you know there is room (one cruise I met some nice people and they were seated at a table that had an empty place, so I asked to join them), or leave it to the Maitre D' to find you a table with there is a spare seat (often because of odd-numbered dining groups, such as a table for 8 with two couples and a group of 3). I've enjoyed my table mates on all 3 cruises, and on two of them I've made pen-pal friends I still keep in contact with. I'm not sure how things will go for solo passengers with the new dining setup.
While I'd love to try a Seabourne cruise, the cost for traveling solo with them is just too high for me - especially when I can get a great cruise on my schedule at an excellent value by traveling Crystal with just a 30% supplement. If I could travel last minute and so could take advantage of solo-rate sales it might be different, but with Crystal I get the same supplement on just about whatever cruise I want.
Seabourn Quest have some good solo deals around the Caribbean at the moment.Iv booked a long trip Miami - Buenos Aires balcony gty 24 nights in Nov £6,880 & new bees will get $400 obc with a referral, look on the Seabourn posts:)
-
Have sailed with all 3 & enjoyed them all :)
Would you consider Seabourn, there are "hosted tables"at dinner every night, of course you can turn down the invitations, but I have really enjoyed them.
Drinks are included, so never a problem when joining new friends for a cocktail !
There are some great solo deals on the Quest at the moment in the Caribbean Iv booked Miami-Buenos Aires 24 nights , balcony gty, £6880. Not cheap, but that include everything except tours.
Also new bees get $400 towards these, see the top of the Seabourn posts.

Hi,
Booked Seabourn 10 day Sommeliers Odyssey Athens-Monte Carlo,29th Oct 2016,via the UK,O/V suite,equivalent to $3,000.(+$400 obc)
Not inexpensive, but pretty exceptional for Seabourn !
(Champagne & caviar included :)
Very "solo" friendly,ie invites to different hosted tables for dinner each evening.

Yes we were upgraded from Oceanview to Balcony, our friends did not apply and they got the same upgrade so saved them 398 dollars.:confused:
Hi,
As a matter of interest, when is your cruise & when were you offered the upgrade ?
-
News to me. I'm booked on a b2b in August in a guarantee cabin and my b2b discount is right there on the invoice. Perhaps it's different in the UK.
I'm booked b2b on the Quest 20th August & 1st September US,TA.
O/V GTY
Azamara refused to honour the b2b discount as they had discounted the cruise price on there web site & I could take it or leave it,which is the fairly standard shore side attitude that I have come to expect from Az
How they EVER get new pax is beyond me!

We also went to the London Cruise Show. The Azamara rep we spoke to, who incidentally admitted she knew very little about Azamara, said that the only special deals she could make at the show was to offer $100 OBC. The prices she quoted us were very high, with many cruises at +£3600 pp for a balcony cabin
We wanted to visit Istanbul and these cruises on Azamara were extortionate. She is going to specialise in Celebrity when the phone centre moves to Guatemala shortly. She has almost sold us a Celebrity 12 night cruise with drinks included and a great itinerary, for considerably less than Azamara.
I am an Azamara fan but will not to book at these prices. We did book a cruise at the show - on The Royal Clipper - Cat 2 cabin, 7 days, flights, 4 star hotel in Rome for 2 nights etc.
:D I too was offered $100 PER CRUISE OBC,BUT,they wouldn't give me this information in writing & doesn't appear anywhere on my paperwork,so will believe it when I see it!
The cruise show was pretty woful wasn't it.
Glad you managed to book something & hope you have a wonderful time.

Finally managed to get through to Azamara & was told I had been "previously misinformed "& they would" happily cancel my 2 cruises & refund my £ !"
There policy,as finally pointed out in there booking conditions is O/V & above qualify.:)
Just a post note.
Have checked the Azamara website prices & they have now increased the inside stateroom prices on the 2 cruises I have booked to more than the balcony staterooms!
-
Ill be getting on as you get off....have a great cruise....congrats on that great steal-deal
Many thanks, they are few are far between!
Have a great holiday.
-
Azamara have booked us on a late morning flight from Heathrow as we will be flying down from Manchester earlier on the morning of 22nd. Looking forward to the cruise may see you on board at meet and greet. Waiting to see if our booking qualifies for free excursions available at each port on this cruise.
:D Good luck, please post the results.
-
I'm guessing you didn't book on the Azamara website. Your first 8day cruise is coming up at £3513 for me!
:D Joker !
Booked at the London Cruise Show.

Do they qualify for "on shore on us"?
good price looking now to see if there is anything that would work for us around April.
With shorex and the more inclusive these look great value.

Hi. We got a good deal yesterday with flights and transfers for the first segment 22 - 30 April. It would have been a great deal without flights but my DH prefers to get the whole package from Azamara. There are only a few of us on the roll call.
Hi :D
Booked BA from LHR at 0700 on 22nd.
As we don't leave Nice until midnight, thought Id take the chance flying in the same day.
See you on the roll call.
-
Booked a btb on the Quest ,cruise only, around the Med 8+7 leaving 22nd April.£1,200,which I thought was an excellent deal for a 15 night cruise.
-
Hi,
Booked Azamara Quest around the Med, btw inside Gty 22nd April 16 nights for the equivilent of $120 per night .
£1,200 -$1,800 (via UK Azamara)
Not sure whether US is offering the deal, but am believe any one can book via UK.
Almost "all inclusive"

I have a european hairdryer & heating tongs & wondered whether they will work on the silhouette. Are there european plug sockets ?

:D Hi Karyn & Steve.
Just had a look at the chat on our roll call & it seems there is already a "meet arranged at "the sunset bar" at the same time ????
Don't want to confuse things too much, but should we change our venue to the sunset bar (where ever that may be :D )& meet there at 5.00
Please both of you post here,to let me know whether you agree.
Not long now.
Sue

Hi Karyn & Steve.
Took a last minute look at our roll call & saw a short "solo list" thought Id post our meet there, would be nice if a few more people joined in.

-
I'm in for either...solo, too.
Steve

Hello Phil, Mandymay and other Single Travelers -
Listed below are the voyages that have been designated with the 125% single supplement rate for our current voyages in 2013, 2014 and 2015. These 2014 voyages are not yet shown on our US/Canada website but there addition is forthcoming. I am copying the UK office with this message not only about the expanded list of voyages, but also about ensuring the correct tariffs.
As you will see, there are nineteen (19) select voyages each on both the Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, offering an attractive selection of choices.
