Last year they went to Serbia, Romania and somewhere else and was involved in a bus wreck on one of their tours

. They weren't hurt, but were inconvenienced. Gate One reimbursed their trip.

My sister and her husband were on that bus and almost got killed. People were badly injured!.

When I was last in Edinburgh, we got this hop-on hop-off bus that stopped at the cruise terminal. Some people from a cruise joined it there.

Do you remember if they took credit cards?

Has anyone stayed at the Marriot Parklane, is it convenient to most attractions ??/Also what is the best way to get to the hotel,other then using the Tube

Our family of three stayed there a few years ago and it was perfect for a pre-cruise hotel. Close to everything and close to a tube station. Ask for a top floor with a view of the street and you'll actually have some scenery! The food was very tasty and the concierge was helpful guiding us around town. Since everyone's needs are different, email the hotel and ask for the various ways to get to the hotel. We took a train from Heathrow and then walked a few blocks with our luggage.

My NCL Epic cruise did have a "Quest," but it was a poor imitation of the RCCL "Quest." ...not funny, not fun, and it was on the last night of the cruise when so many people are packing, so there were way too few people both in the audience (teams) and participating!

I will be taking the Western route in a week and I'm having difficulty knowing what I can charge in the three ports and what I need to pay cash for. I have no idea how much cash to take off the ship in each port?
