Does anyone know if you are able to plug an iPhone/iPod touch into the TV's? Wondering if we can forgo bringing a DVD player and just play my son's shows on the TV using the Apple AV adapter.
We were in an OS cabin on deck 7 last week (9/5 sailing) and there were hookups for an RCA cable and a regular mic/input jack (middle sized) in a little cubby adjacent to the monitor. DD was in a 1A and she didn't have those hookups, so I'm thinking its only available in the suites.

They were all over Mexico:p I had this thread in mind the whole cruise.
Topes! I hit one of those at 40 mph in a rental car a few years back. Boy was that a surprise

This thread bears seeing again and again - so I will boot it up to the top, so that the newbies can get hooked like the rest of us!!!!!!!!
Good idea Vicki. I love this thread too.

Hey all. Here's the Labadee zipline video. Click:cool:
Oh man! That was awesome. I need to go on that cruise specifically to do THAT zipline. Thank you so much for posting it. <3

This is my favorite shot of mine from our Dream cruise. I love how the sunlight reflecting off of the water is casting light onto the bottom of the lifeboats. :)
Ok, compositionally (is that a word?), this is one of the best cruise ship photographs I have ever seen. My hubby (the Photoshop king) said the lighting was brilliant.
Well done.

Hey who took my towel and book off my lounge chair?
Ha ha ha ha! Made me spit out my coffee! :D
Too funny.

I love looking for and taking shots like these. Anybody else? :)
I sure do. The shot below was taken on the Sun deck of the Elation looking over the dome of the atrium. It reminds me of a moonscape - lol. The size of the image is odd because I cropped out an uninteresting part that drew the eye away from the focal point.
I also posted an interesting hallway shot (2nd image) in another photo thread --> http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=23233746&postcount=221

Thank you. :) That was one of the coolest and most exciting things we've done while cruising. Right after taking that shot I switched the camera to video and shot footage all the way down. If y'all want to see it I'll see if I can get it uploaded.
Yes Please! That would be Awesome!

This is one of my favorite and unique shots from our cruises. I took this just prior to launching on the zip line at Labadee in 2007, on our cruise on the Explorer of the Seas.
Oh my. I so want to be there. Right now. Such a fantastic shot.

I have only been on one cruise so far, but this is my favorite picture from the cruise. I took 3 pictures of the Elation Atrium and hubby used Photoshop to create a panorama from them. The image is a thumbnail. Click the link underneath to see the large version. It's 1.4 megabytes, but worth waiting for the download ;)

Hey Mike - two things:
First - it took me most of the day ( I started reading it at work and had to finish reading it when I got home) to get through this thread and read your cruise log! You did a fantastic job. You should start a blog - seriously.
Second - It made my day. I walked away from a cruise on the Paradise recently because I received news that my Dad was about to pass away just as I was about to check in. Leaving the cruise and going back home was the right thing to do, but a little part of me is sad that I didn't get to go. This journal of your family's cruise made me feel like I was there with you and for that, I thank you. <3
