Spent a lot of time there on the Symphony.
It's great place to people watch. Kids were a hoot.
It makes refreshment package drinks as well. Roy Rodgers (cherry coke) for example.
You can customize to your taste any drink you order.

Our experience is the larger the ship the less crowded you feel. Liberty is a good ship and we always have fun on her. We started cruising on Oasis when she was new and so we might not just know any better!
Have fun!

Any bar will honor any drink package including non-alcohol packages. ASK the nice bartender!

Can we get a drink at Sobor without the $30 cover charge? We would like to try their Margaritas/chips and salsa without a full meal.
Thanks!

Does the Liberty OTS still have a dedicated indoor movie theater? What movies have they shown recently?
Thanks for reading!

I haven't smoked for 17 years. I did not notice any undue smoke smell in the Schooner Bar. I enjoyed the venue. It's a great place to sit and read while partaking of libation.
Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you for the info.

Hello,
As the title indicates: Does the Liberty of the Seas have the COKE FREESTYLE machines yet?
We are deciding on drink packages. Can you get a free milkshake at Johnny Rockets with a Refreshment package? We did that on Symphony and they are really good!
See you there in February!
Thanks for taking time to read.

I wear nice jeans (no holes, no shorts) and a western type shirt that has a collar, a belt, socks and clean New Balance shoes.
They are nice to me any place on the ship.

Contact RCI a few weeks before sailing and ask them. Have a few brands to suggest and perhaps a website that defines the product type.

We are NOT beachgoers either, but you might like to go to MAHO beach. There is an open air bar/grill that is good place to sit and watch the airplanes land. (youtube= MAHO BEACH) $20 will probably cover the round trip taxi ride. We don't get off the ship early, we let the crowd thin out..
Enjoy!

I seem to recall that the Oasis has a morgue.... I hope it wasn't needed.

We were on the Oasis in Dec of 2009 and we could barely feel the ship move at all. :)
I had a GPS with me and found that the ship would speed up at night and slow (just a bit, maybe 2 knots) during the day.
We were high and aft on the ship and really enjoyed the slight nibble of the props as we fell asleep each night.;):D
During the LONG walk through the hallways I did take an occasional side step as the ship moved under me. No big deal and my medicine stayed in my luggage.:)
Take some meds with you just in case, but I doubt you'll need them.

Movie Theater on Liberty OTS
in Royal Caribbean International

They did show movies in the Platinum Theater while we were on board. They were Jurassic Park (latest one) and Skyscraper, both in 3D.
There is a bit of a problem keeping external noise out of the theater during a film showing and the 3d glasses suffer from spots left behind by the cleaning process performed between uses.
Popcorn is $2.50.
