  1. You do not need any vaccines before going to Cuba. You have as much a chance  getting Hep A there as in Florida, and typhoid? Please. Who hears of anyone getting that?

From the CDC: About 300 people get typhoid fever in the United States each year, and most of these people have recently traveled.

There are 325 million people in the USA.

Do the odds. You have a better chance of dying in a car crash on the way to the ship than getting typhoid.

  2. Thanks for your review. I'm enjoying it and can't wait for more. I love your whole style of telling it like it is and not sugar coating things. I also love all the pics. Sorry about the bad start with the Uber ride going the wrong way and the annoying hotel staff saying they don't police the pool when they did police the pool. Also I refuse to stay at a hotel if there's not free breakfast. So I understand you not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for what they wanted to charge.

I can't believe Carnival is not only charging you money if you want to watch a movie indoors, but is also charging you for the popcorn. Every ship I've ever been on with an indoor theater offered both the movie and popcorn for free. Carnival really seems to be nickel and diming people lately, but then I guess all lines are doing this. The elevators also seem like a nightmare. Can you imagine if you are a little tipsy trying to figure it out? You get in the elevator and there are no buttons to press. Whaaaaaaaaaaat?

Anyway, looking forward to more review and pics!

  3. Cruise Law  News reports a strike in San Juan today impacted cruise passengers. Departing passengers have been unable to retrieve their luggage and take taxis to the airport and arriving passengers have been delayed or unable to travel to the port due to the strikes. The current strike involves an organized protest against governmental cuts of employee benefits in Puerto Rico.

  4. Thanks for taking the time to make that great review.

I also liked that format you used where you can click the pics to make them bigger so you can fit them all on one page, instead of all of them being giant pictures and the review being like 40 pages on here. No offense to those that put giant pictures on here. I like looking at them too. Just was saying it's quicker to get thru the review and pics the other way.

  5. Nachi Cocum beach is very soft, not to mention quiet and relaxing with some fairly decent snorkeling right off the beach and plenty of food and unlimited drinks. I think it's about a 20 minute taxi ride.

Here is a YouTube video of Nachi Cocum that gives a good idea of what Nachi Cocum is like:

    Looks great.

I was looking for an excursion/something to do in Cozumel.

I will probably choose that beach club.
