Go here - https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs
Recommend a scooter - scootaround.com is who we use and they also do wheelchairs.
RCI and Port staff will get you through the terminal and onto/off the ship, but onboard you're on your own to bring your own or use a rental.
How much does renting a scooter for a week?

Hi, my wife and I are ready to cruise again after half a decade away because of my wife’s series of illnesses. She can walk short distances, but she needs wheelchair assistance from time to time. We will definitely need assistance in getting on the ship. She would prefer walking where she can and can do about 1200 steps a day without impacting her next day.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

It was $12.99/day as of last month.
Thank you!

Thanks. Do you know how much that is per day?

Hi,
I haven't been on Royal since this started and thought there was a Voom Surf package and a Voom Surf & Stream package but only see the Surf & Stream package offered pre-cruise? Are both available?
It is offering the Surf & Stream for $14.39 per day for one device.

Hi,
We're going to need transportation from Miami International to the Fort Lauderdale Cruise port for four adults, a child and a baby. Normally my wife and I take a taxi for the two of us but we are travelling with relatives and need a bigger vehicle.
Any recommendations?

Rosa's won the Best Fish Sandwich contest last year which was organised by the Bermuda Tourism Authority. The top five were voted by the public and then were invited to a taste off by three chefs and Rosa's won.
Art Mel's did not want to participate in the competition and even when the public mounted a write-in campaign and they made the top 5, Art Mel's declined to participate.

I ate at Anchor for the first time there with friends last Saturday on the back patio. They had some great reggae playing during happy hour then switched to smooth jazz for the dinner/evening time.
The staff was attentive. The food was good, but average.

Would you use them (depending on cost)?
For context, we are talking about two-seat vehicles.
Why or why not?
If yes, what form of transportation would you have used instead?
Thanks, just curious as to what visitors use as a way of transportation.

The person handling social media for the government may have confused this proposal with the one currently under consideration that would allow tourists to rent mini cars.
Possibly.
the Tourism Authority came out today to back the rental cars issue.

That article is dated March 9, 2015.
Presumably the operation never got off the ground.
Interesting - a Government spokesperson posted it to Facebook today.

A new business is hoping to operate out of Dockyard offering small car guided tours.

They aren't rental cars (although they are debating a law to allow tourists to rent 150cc vehicles).
What do people think?

Wonder where Islegrove got their information and also wonder if JollyJones knows anything?
A little birdie told me.
The grand opening is supposed to be this weekend.

We'll see how things pan out with the Breakaway and Summit in together.

From the Royal Gazette:
"However, staff at the official centre are said to be under orders from the transport ministry only to sell $19 day passes to visitors, even though regular $4.50 tokens are sold nearby at the Bermuda Craft Market."
It's not as convenient but you can pick up two tokens at the craft market for your round trip. It's a simple work around.

You can Google map Art Mel's from either the Bus or Ferry Terminal. It is a 27 to 30 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal. The closest place to eat it would be at the Tennis Stadium or Softball Field at Bernard Park, which you have to walk past to get back to down. The nicest place to eat would be Victoria Park.

I hear they will be opening a shop in Dockyard. Not confirmed yet though.

What are your thoughts about Diamonds International coming to Bermuda?

To start later this month so the Quantum Class can get into Bermuda.

People are still watching her social media accounts.
70 pounds is greedy. She specifically came to take it for her business for which she did not have a Bermuda work permit to do ss and she should have.
She had photos of her on the beach where the sign is saying it is unlawful. In the Erie article she tells people to come to the beach and take as much as they want.
To be honest, most residents don't mind if someone takes a few pieces as a souvenir, but this was way beyond that and then to brag about it was rubbing salt in the wound.
She then mass blocked anyone from Bermuda on commenting on her Facebook page and individually blocked anyone who posted a negative comment on it. She also took down her Pinterest account.
Many locals would like to see her banned from ever being allowed back in Bermuda.

I've done it once plus been been around the various locations when they have come through. It's a great tour. You can book it through their own website and save a few dollars.

Sorry, here is the link: http://bernews.com/2015/09/dd-americas-cup-world-series-comes-bermuda/
It's at the end of the cruise season but if you're here next month, this is a bit of info about what to expect.[/url]
