Harbour Nights is a lot of fun and they usually have some sort of entertainment for the evening.
The ferries run later that night to take people back to the ships.
-
This is hopefully good news: Following the meeting, Dr. Binns said discussions were “healthy and productive."
-
And all three days will be in Hamilton instead of the ill-fated tendering in St George's.
-
More choice for cruisers who like Bermuda in that a) It's Holland America; and b) It's three days in Hamilton rather than Dockyard.
-
This is sad after the bus incident earlier in the week.

He still doesn't know that the Quantum of the Seas will be based in Asia. If they're getting a Royal Caribbean mega ship, it will be the Anthem of the Seas.
That's what I thought.
-
I thought as much. I guess they could always recall Quantum but they made such a big deal about it going to china and tapping into the Asian market.

My wife is celiac, so we are able to get gluten-free pizzas, which is a big plus for us. The staff is usually very good about avoiding cross-contamination.
We usually ask for it to be baked slightly longer as the crust turns out better that way.

The Bermuda tourism minister is saying he is in talks with Royal about bringing Quantum back to Bermuda in 2016. I thought Anthem was going to be based out of Cape Liberty starting in the fall of 2015.

The tourism minister says this will happen by the end of the year and they will announce plans by the end of the summer. He better have his flak jacket on as the environmental groups will definitely put up a road block.

A friend of mine went to Tobacco Bay two weeks ago and were not impressed and posted so on Facebook. The new owner reached out to them and said they were still in soft launch mode and give them another try in July.
I have snorkled at TB and can't see where they would do the jetskis or the flyboarding. Those items would ruin what people go there for.

They are back working.

Sorry to our visitors. I have a friend visiting on Royal and he was planning on going to St George's.

I don't ride the bus so I wouldn't notice anything, but the report says 15 minute to hour delays are being caused by this.

There are four proposals in and, hopefully, we'll get a chance to see what the other ones look like.

They've added the wine menus as well. It's only temporary until they build his restaurant proper next year.

I think it's pretty cool. I've always been meaning to go out on a tour to Nonsuch Island to see them closer, but need to make it more of a priority.

I know a lot of people here are looking forward to a celeb chef restaurant here!

Depends on how much stock you but in these (my SO swears by them but I think they can be manipulated). In any event, Bermuda received 78 of them this year. Here's a list of them:
-
The cahow is en endemic Bermuda bird that was thought to be extinct until rediscovered in the 1950s.
A cam has been set up to watch them in their habitat on Nonsuch Island.

Many stores will be closed on the holiday. Bermuda did relax the shopping laws at the end of last year so more stores are now open on Sunday (and you can buy alcohol, if that's your thing).
There will be a Labor Day Parade on MOnday, but it's basically union workers marching and not floats and bands and drill teams.

When is the opening day for the new fun park inside the museum at Dockyard? All I have seen says in June. Supposed to be something for the kids to climb and slide on I think.
Photos of it here: http://www.bermudasun.bm/Content/NEWS/News/Article/New-Dockyard-playground-will-open-in-June/24/270/77330
I think it's open now as I saw someone post a photo with their kid on it last weekend.

This isn't the one that Marcus Samuelsson will be opening this summer.
1609 will basically only be open during cruise season. My cousin is working on the site and I've been over there and would have to say the views are spectacular. The food may be a bit pricey (this is Bermuda afterall) for some and if you just want a burger you may better off at swizzle Inn.
this link includes the men/drinks pricelist:

There is Snorkel Park in Dockyard. I've never been. It's a bit younger crowd and I think you have to be 18 for the nightclub like party so that would leave out your kids.
