Did I read somewhere that there is fountain lemondate or ice tea available at no charge? If there is I may be more apt to drink that by the pool during the day.

I was kind of figuring out last night that is you average the cost of the 3 drinks (beer $5.50 / mix $8.50 / wine $10) that works out to about $8 per drink making it about 14 drinks a day between the two of us to break even on the cost of the UBP. Not really sure it make sense but then again I'm sure there will be days where I have more drinks then others.

Really am so undecided about this. We leave next Sunday and we need to make our decision as I'd like to pre-order and pay for so it's not on my charge at the end of the week.

We will be docking Bermuda so we are not 100% it make sense. The first and last day that we are docked we plan to just walk off the ship and see what's around the dock and spend part of the day at the pool but Thursday we will spend the day at the beach.

I also don't want to feel like I have to constantly be drinking in order to get my money's worth but I also know that with the drink prices it would not take long to add up. Like a previous poster - mimosa in the morning, couple of drinks at the pool, drink to take back to the room while gettng ready for dinner, wine, maybe caisno drinks.l

I think may just for the peace of mind to not have to worry about whether or not we will have a huge bill at the end of the week but I know if I keep track of my slips and find out we didn't spend the full amount I'll be aggravated that I made the decisio to purchase.

I'm glad to see the minimum weight requirement on the freefall slides. I know my daughter would love to try them but it's more me that is worried she would panic and be scared. I've been telling her all along that she probably will not be big enough to go on those slide so now I can say for sure she will not, height wise she is ok but no where near 99 pounds.

It looks to me there are 3 other slides that are normal type water slides, the open blue and then the tube yellow & red am I correct on this?

Thanks for all your great information. Looking forward to seeing the Splash Academy pages so we can see what's happening on what nights to we can plan anything that we need to make reservations for around that schedule.

This may have been asked already and if it was I just missed it. But does the drink pacakge apply to anywhere you get a drink like the restaurants that you pay an upcharge for and the casino? I thought I saw on one of the threads that the restaurants along the boardwalk on the Breakway you pay for food but what about drinks if you have the UBP.

If I understand correctly what I have read about this then everyone over 21 in the cabin must purchase this and under 21 must purchase the soda package.

We are undecided about purcashing this on our Bermuda cruise in July, leaning more towards yes. Figuring what we spent on our last cruise I think it would probably be a better deal for us to purchase it.

With the cost of drinks it doesn't take to many to add up to $50 per day. We usually get a bucket of beer by the pool during the day and if you have some wine with dinner then maybe a couple of drinks later on in the evening or even a bloody mary in the morning I don't think it would take to much to get up to the per person cost per day.

I saw this last week on the Bon Voyage list to pre-purchase but now I do not see it listed. If we did purchase I'd prefer to buy & pay for ahead of time rather then purcashing it once we get on the ship.
