Our 3 cruises we have active now were booked with celebrity so that might be the issue if it wasn’t.

not true - my TA always adds it and its on my reservation every time

This is what she adds every time ---- Bed configuration:   Together/Both Together - King Bed

How can we request 2 beds instead of the king bed? I have searched and cannot see where we can input preferences.

Inform your TA who puts it in your reservation or you call Celebrity if you did the reservation through them and they do the same

I was poking around the app and got curious to find out what the most expensive bottle of wine that Celebrity had listed on their app.  To my surprise, I found a "Liber Pater 'Bordeaux'" for $100,000.  I found it in the Luminae wine menu, 🙄 figures.  It's crazy to think that there's even the potential to have folks onboard that have that kind of money to drop $100k on a single bottle of wine.  You'd be hard pressed to find a Celebrity cruise where you'd pay over $100k for the topmost suite.

This left me thinking, do they automatically tack gratuity on the bottle so then it becomes a $120k bottle of wine?  That would be a very nice tip 😅  But along the same lines, I would feel ashamed spending that kind of money on a single bottle of wine knowing how little the onboard staff get paid to provide the service during the cruise.  It's like taking a $100,000 bill and burning it right in front of them just because you can.  To me, that's insensible, but maybe I'm being unnecessarily empathetic.

And I was told they sell one about once or twice a year

Besides Specialty dinner, what is acceptable for men & women?

    Men- shorts/polo type jerseys?

    Women - Sleeveless summer dresses/sandals etc. ?

Also can you leave pool area and go eat somewhere in a tank top?

See everything worn at the various cruises I've done since 2019.

Just came back from Antarctica on the Infinity and saw shorts regularly in the MDR. Hoody's and T Shirts.

In the Oceanview on our TransPacific last year - slippers - dressing gown - flip flops and speedos

    See it all

    Hello All,

We are committed Celebrity cruisers, but it has been 8 long years since our last cruise.  We were searching for a cruise, and for us, the ship is just as important as the destination in some cases.  After reading reviews on the Edge class ships, we decided to book our old favorite Solstice class on Equinox.  We sailed on this ship in the past, but apparently they have changed a few things since then.  Does anyone know if they still have the Bistro on 5 and I just can’t find it, or did they exchange it for something else?  TIA!

    Abby

Bistro on 5 went bye bye on M & S type ships in Sep 2016 and changed to Sushi on 5

Does the Constellation have a self service laundromat on board.  We sailing soon for 10 days and saw the prices for laundry service on our pre cruise info.  Very steep.

Celebrity Cruises has never had self service laundry on their ships

We are very upset and not happy about this. We book concierge because the breakfast meny for delivery is wider.
This change affects all future bookings that was made a long time before this change.
We really enjoy having breakfast on our balcony😔

There is no reason to book concierge. We are always later than embarkation lunch onboard. So the BIG number one reason was breakfast menu.
Hopefully they will change their mind to the better….🧐

We just got off the Infinity last Saturday. The in-room Breakfast is the same whether you're in Concierge, Aqua, or an inside room. The only upgrade is in a Suite. The charge is $9.95 plus $1.79 gratuities = $11.74. Suite passengers do not pay the fee. You can also have the MDR menu items delivered to your room for the $11.74 charge.

Quick question - what sodas are available on the Apex? DW will be disappointed if they don't have Dr Pepper or Mr Pibb...

There has never been Dr Pepper or Mr Pibb on Celebrity Cruises only Coke products. They have Coke - Sprite and Fanta Orange

I thought room service was still free for breakfast though. So what's the issue?

No - only the Continental Breakfast is free - charge on the Full Breakfast and any other Room Service since the 1st Jan 2023

Great!  Capt Mat, right?  My opinion, I don't care if the captain announces the number of positive cases or not, most really don't care overall.  For those who do want to know, if wish it was on the TV, app or something.  Will be on her again on Aug 29th for the 10 nighter; 4 sailing on her within 10 months.

Until your the one locked in the quarantine room for multiple days

We sail Friday and still nothing on our bids. As of yesterday there were still many cabins in veranda and Concierge and some in Aqua available. All our bids are still pending. What is the latest we might hear and do they notify us if all of them have been rejected? I had hoped to hear before now, especially after our bids went expired except one several weeks ago, only to have them all revert to pending days later. Is it possible that something has gone wrong?

We heard less than 24 hours before sailing - had to queue up to check in bags as had no bag tags
