Thats fine if you can manage your own bags but people who use canes or walkers or wheelchairs simply can’t
Very true - on a 7 day cruise we just take backpacks so no luggage involved

Our Cruise on the Eclipse in Oct now numbers over a 100 for the Cruise Critic Party and has been going up daily for the past fortnight. Hopefully Anne gets everything sorted out with Celebrity but I have everybody's E mail address and we're meeting for a huge Sailaway party

They added the automatic gratuity as most were getting stiffed at the Specialty Restaurant

The morale to the story and glad they found your bags always walk off with your own bags and never tag them and place them outside your state room. We learnt the hard way back in 2003 and have never tagged them since. We keep them in the room and leave on embarkation day at our time and leisure and never have to wait for bags in the hold area. See so many people hunting for bags and getting upset. Normally from the time we walk down the gangway we're gone within 10 to 15 mins from the terminal

I'm trying to find out the same details, with no luck despite searching.
We are sailing on the Eclipse from Hawaii to Sydney in Oct, and therefore not really any similar cruises in the app.
Any previous cruisers on this itinerary have any details please.
Lara,
On this cruise with you. Chic Nights will be Tue 4th Oct - Wed 12th Oct & Thu 20th Oct
Thanks

Not necessarily by the color but the card should say Elite.
i believe that color designates your stateroom type…blue for Aqua, gold for Concierge
It is stated on your card - Zenith - Elite+ - Elite - Select etc not the colour of the card

Solstice should be able to go thru the new set of locks.
The locks were upsized so all the largest ships can now get through

My Solstice 2023 cruise has been cancelled.
This is the second time trying to cruise in Japan. I think I'm done with this part of the world.

Dear Guest,
We are contacting you to provide an update on the status of your 2022/23 cruise vacation. Due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the restart of international operations in the Asia region, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Celebrity Solstice sailings in this part of the world and will be relocating the ship to the Mexican Riviera. As a result, we will be canceling all Celebrity Solstice Asia sailings currently scheduled to depart September 16, 2022 through April 21, 2023......Monica,
Was on that cruise that got cancelled in 2020 and again in 2021. When the dates changed for 2022 we jumped off and moved our Transpacific Cruise to the Eclipse out of Honolulu - glad we did that as we get to go to Tahiti and looks like ours is going as Australia and New Zealand are now open. Wish you all the best

Is Celebrity limiting the number of passengers on each ship or are they sailing with the max number of passengers? I'm sailing next month on the Apex.
We had 783 on the Edge three weeks ago so the answer is nowhere near the max which was good for us as we had the Solarium pool and jacuzzi to ourselves every day for a week - also got the main pool to myself on a sea day

I always do that and wonder how many other guests do the same thing. Can you imagine the space needed to store all of those mini-bar items?
We always have the mini bar emptied immediately so we can use it for our things as we don't drink alcohol

Mini microwave in a room. Walked by - door was open for cleaning. Had to stop and look - looked in the room and there was TV dinner boxes on top. First time I've ever seen that.

We met Lisa a few years ago and she was very interested in the bottom line profit, nothing has changed. We are Elite + with a B2B booked for next November after that Gen X have the ships to themselves.
If I read the email correctly Zeniths will no longer be able to access Michaels or the Retreat unless they are in a suite or “space allows”
Correct

Fair points. This opens up several questions:
1) Could you register and attend this event at the last minute?
2) If yes to #1, did the event link go viral towards the end?
3) Highlighted, its somewhat surprising no one at X was able to track the # of participants; you would imagine the platform (zoom?) was actively notifying X of the recommended bandwidth
My family of 12 all signed up that day and got on - wasn't last minute though

As a little kid I enjoyed the activities they put on every day for the kids. Remember back than all kids ate seperately from the parents at Dinner

You let me down. I thought your number one not missing would be your ever popular, "loud mouth wearing his cowboy hat in Murano... 🤣
Speaking of Murano - Texas chap coming into Murano's in ripped up shorts - old scruffy T shirts and flip flops and being told to leave. Said - this is how we dress in Texas and we own the world so let me eat - so glad security threw him out

Reality of the times unfortunately

I certainly hope not, since we have Connie scheduled in 2021. She won't be Reved, but we'll still be dining in Luminae for the first time, and will enjoy Michael's. I like the current locker room anyway. The Rev will cut it in half.
The Millennium was already reved and the upgrades look great - especially the revamped bathrooms

Doubt they will be back any time soon with the Cruise Critic party
