  1. Then it has to be in the house, unless he went to an Irish wake afterward & then there's no telling!

Lol you would think so! But no! I'm starting to think that perhaps it's still at the dry cleaners but it was listed under the wrong phone number... :(

  2. My DH lost his suit also!! But it was easy to track down. The week before he left it in a Marriott hotel while attending our DGD college graduation, 3 hours away. And we were due to leave on a cruise the next Sat. The lost & found had it & fed exed it to us in time!

I just wish...he says he wore it to a funeral last...

  3. So, my husband lost his suit. Who does that??!? I've checked with the dry cleaners... Checked all our closets... Nothing. Yet, he still has his dress up shoes! Ughh lol.....ok rant over.

So, we cruise in a few weeks and he has been working major overtime. I just don't foresee him being able to get anther suit in time for formal night. Do you think he can get away with dress pants, dress shirt and a tie for formal night? I'd really rather not miss out on the lobster :) any thoughts?

  4. Since this is your first time in St. Lucia, if you don't take a tour you would be cheating yourself of one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. St. Lucia is very rugged and looks very much like islands in the South Pacific. I urge you to take a day long tour (about 7 hours) and see the wonderful sights. I recommend Herod’s (Land & Sea Safari) as the best I have taken. The current cost is $85 per adult. His web site is: http://herodstours.com/

Other very good tour operators are: Cosol Tours http://www.cosol-tours.com/ and Spencer Ambrose http://spencerambrose.com/

You will be glad you took one of these tours.

I totally agree... Take a land and sea tour! Our tour on St Lucia was our all time favorite.

  5. We have a group of people that will do zip lining at Sky Safaris in March 2014. 1 or 2 people are scared to Zip Line, is there any way for them to observe the others Zip Lining? We will be booking through Carnival (Valor).

Hi! I see you posted this question last year... I assume you now know if you canobserve or not... Can you? And do you know what it costs if you can?

  6. Does anyone know of any hotels that have late afternoon check out? We don't get in until 7:00 pm the night before and if I book at a resort I would like to enjoy the beach etc atleast. Just wondering if anyone knows of a hotel that does this.

  7. I was going to book the old San Juan Sheraton for the night before our cruise as we don't fly in until 6:30 pm and figured if we wanted to spend the day at the beach, most hotels would probably kick us out by noon anyway.

I thought it would be a great opportunity to try local eateries and use the trolley to sight see instead... But sadly OSJ Sheraton is booked :(

Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?

  8. I also was up in the Ir between the valor and sunshine but went with valor because I am all about itinerary! We did the breeze last year and she was awesome... But for me it's all abou the destination....sunshine only has a few more amenities than valor does,,,IMHO
