Exactly my thoughts. I’m kinda glad that these temptations are being removed. I was worried it would be some more catastrophic to my cruising experience like limiting number of appetizers or something. I actually think the celebration cake is a good one. I never have liked the celebration cakes and always end up ordering another dessert and feel guilty about the waste of the food and the effort of those making those cakes. I think most others feel the same. I can see where some of these effect people but in all my cruises, I take advantage of few of them. i have spent the past two month getting my body cruise ready, and have two more months to go…. My hubby and I already made the commitment to use the fitness center every morning to offset some of the calories but this actually helps us out 🙂

That's okay. You are probably right about it being over priced and a tourist trap but we have gone twice and really enjoyed it and it was convenient for us to get to 🙂 Generally we like to go off the beaten path, but sometimes we like to go and see what all the fuss is about. We will go again on this trip 🙂

I don't know when you are going ( if if you have already gone), but we go in October and were also interested in this option. I sent an email to the hotel and I will post their response.

We are doing the same itinerary on the same ship in October. I would also be interested in some local fare! Looking forward to seeing who answers 🙂 I will say Cabo Wabo in Cabo is wonderful food, drinks and atmosphere!

Hey everyone, I have cruised for a while but it's been a couple years because of covid and I've heard there are a lot of changes. Does anyone know if Carnival is still allowing passengers to carry a 12 pack of soda on board?
