You need to swap over to Kindle - no need to be online to read from a Kindle and they are very inexpensive now.

We will be going on a family cruise in 1 week and I would like to put cash into my children's onboard accounts. How does this work? They will already have their credit card on their account, I just want to add some extra spending money.

The purser will take the cash and credit the accounts. but why bother, the kids don't actually get the cash :confused:

i don't know, but can say we choose east to west for the starting/ending cities. BA is a major city with lots going on so a good place to start while the energy level is high, then wind down in Valpo/Santiago,which appears more laid back.

I don't know that the in between part really matters :D

We redeemed 60,000 points for a cruise discount on our upcoming cruise. I was surprised to find the $750- applied as a credit to our account, which I then paid Princess against the fare, thus earning 1,500 points. not bad deal at all :)

You need to stay over in Vancouver (you'll love it here) and get the next 7 day Vancouver round trip to Alaska OR get off in Vancouver and travel to Seattle to do a 7 day Alaska round trip.

...The ship was shimmying from side to side as well. People at the front of the ship were very sick from the constant up and down motion. We were quite groovy at the back. :D

On excursions that involve tendering, on some ships the ship sponsored excursions meet on the ship and tender off together.

I would just advise the tour boss that I will hook up with them on shore. Makes no sense to return to the ship :eek:

We had that cabin one cruise and the room steward told us the door would be open during muster, please feel free to it. We did and no problem - the door was open the entire time.
