For those who have been to Bora Bora before, what do you consider the best thing to do there ? Also, is it easy to get a cab at the cruise port in order to then get around?
Patrick
One of the two best guides we’ve had in many places around the world. Morning snorkeling, afternoon touring in his 4X4
If he’s available get group of 8 together and go.
-
When you get to your cabin call the attendent, they will provide the extension cord, tape it down and provide distilled water. Don’t worry about it.
-
Don't...what? Travel with Viking, do the Waterways trip, or both?
Both
Spend a week in St. Pete and a week in Moscow.
You’ll have an enjoyable vacation and see something.

One word- Don’t
-
No, none of X ships have self service laundramats

Just got off the Connie in May. Blu waiter would
Get us anything we wanted from the MDR Line.
Had a Blu manager on Infinity tell me it was not possible
We would look at the MDR Menu during the day and
If we liked the MDR menu better we would ask the Blu manager to arrange a table.
I normally will give a tip to the restaurant management
Which goes into the tip pool. This time my tip was
This is the first time I stiffed the restaurant manager
Because of his insistence that it could bot be done.
On Solstice class the galleys are not near each other.
We still check the MDR menu and asked for a table in
The MDR.
Ever since Solstice came out we sail in Aqua class
Exclusively. 10 cruises in AQ in with 4 more booked.

Of all the private and cruise line tours our
Most memorable. Overlord Tours of Normandy and the
DDay Beaches. Only way to describe was-Fantastic!!!!
Patrick's tour of Bora Bora was incredible.

Just off of the Constellation. This as our 12th sailing
On Celebrity all Aqua Class because of Blu.
Food was great and plentiful. Each night the waiter
Surprised us with an additional appetizer and entree to share which was not on the menu.
Blu is anytime dining, mostly tables for two where you
can talk with the people next to you or not.
Food is great, service even better.
The only way you'll know is to try it.

Lobster Murano is great'

I did this when the took away the Aqua Class warer. Worked well, I had the cabin attendant clear the refrigerator so I had cold water the entire cruise.

Sure they can offer add benefits with the money they are savings X is getting by taking away the Aqua class water. Doesn't make any sense.

We were on the Reflection March 5-12,2016. Very few Elites on board so
evening drinks in Sky Lounge. At no time did we count more than 20
People in Sky Lounge.
We've always had coupons in the past, I think I prefer the coupons and
Live without the Hor d'ourves.

We were recently in cabin 1103 Aqua Class A1. The cabin was great, no
noise , easy access to Oceanview cafe, elevators to BLU. The downside is if
you need to get to the Sky Lounge and the weather is bad or cold, you
have to go down to deck 9 then walk forward.
There were so many Elite's on board so coupons for drinks were given out
And could be used in most bars.
This was a trip to Canada and the upper US. It was Captain Kate's or second voyage and she gave us a great ride. Smooth sailing.
I hope this helps.

Since The water is gone from Aqua Class and we're not on a drink package, if I drop a case(24) bottles with a he porters will I get them are will
Celebrity confiscate it. I asked this of X four weeks ago and still have no
Response.
Thanks

I wrote a letter to protest the taking away the water from Aqua Class and
now all 4 of our future reservations are also gone. I thought that maybe
the cost-accountants fired us as Cruisers on X.
Glad to hear others are having the same problem- what can you expect they
have the worst computer system in the industry and unfortunately they seem
to like it that way.

We've sailed in 1501 and 1502 on the Solstice several times.
My wife doesn't sleep well so we've taken advantage of having the
Relaxing Lounge for the spa as our private lounge. Usually the water is still hot for tea and very quiet.
-
Oliver, thank you for sharing your wonderful pictoral review of the Around the Horn cruise. We were on the same sailing with you and your beautiful photos and commentary provided us with a cherished " walk down memory lane". Bravo!!
Pat and Don
Please keep traveling and posting more reviews. Well done.

Our TA a large discount agency is a member of the consurcion. The tour
Itself was in Barbados on a Sunday when the island is very quiet.
Two busses with about z36-40 people total. Island tour going to the Oldest Church on the Island and Cemetery, island musueme with a great
Discussion on slavery and emancipation, and the a buffet lunch overlooking
A beautiful beach.a great spiff from our agent. The cocktail party prior to the tour in Quasar didn't really do anything for me since we were on a free bev package.
Good day and saw the entire island.

Recently on the Eclipse in the Carribean I asked the CD Sue Denning about
Sin City and she indicated that is one when the ships are in Europe.
We enjoyed "Sin City" very much and hope it confirm use to be part
Of Celebrity entertainment.

They were unable to regulate it. Fortunately the laundromat was cool.

Princess on a Cruise from Miami to LA had the following on daytime
1) A financial planner who had 4 lectures
2) The most boring monotone expert talking for a solid 10 hours
while we went through the canal
Princess on a Polynesian cruise- nothing on days on the water
Celebrity on an Alaekan cruise
1) A expert on Alaska for those who wanted to hear the lectures
Celebrity- Carribean cruise 14 Days in March of 2015
1) Inside the White House a four series program by the Former Head
Of the Whitehouse visitors office.
2) a five lesson program on Apple IPhones, IPads and notebooks.
Learned a lot about how to really use IPhones and IPads.
While the Princess Minisuites offer more space, we'll take Celebrity Aqua Class and Blu every time. After spending over 40 years in the Food Service Industry
there is no comparison- Blu is much better.
As far as Internet connections On princess I could rarely connect,
On Celebrity I used up the full 90 minutes that each received for being
Elite.
One thing Princess Does right- Self service laundry. Air conditioned with
TV. When our cabin was over 90F the laundry was a comfortable 75F.
We've been on over 40 cruises starting in 1977.
Celebrity has become our Cruise Line of Choice even though I'm a Carnival
Corp. stockholder since the day they went public.

Just got Off Eclipse on 3/29/15. We were in Blu dining room and did not have trouble getting wine or drinks.
I wouldn't cancel the beverage package works week.
-
Blu is great. Normally go to Murano on the first night if the 50% discount
Is offered on board. All other nights and breakfast in Blu.

Go to your local jeweler, someone in your community 52 weeks a year,
Supports your Little League, civic organizations and employs your neighbors and friends.
We've spent 30 + years importing diamonds and have been on over 40 cruises
The "deals" are at best a legitimate retail price after they mark it up to mark it down. We're currently in St Maarten, when we get back we'll advise some
Local Jewelers to raise their prices so the are competitive with the
Retailers who do nothing but take your money.
Enjoy your trip but be careful, your ripe for the taking.
