Just booked Same cruise today, but booked RCI transfers since I wasn't sure what taxi. Situation might be. We arrive on Delta at 3:49pm.
-
Booked cruise and air with cruise line today for Nov. 18-25 sailing.
-
I just booked today and booked their air with Delta for the Nov. 18-25!

We will be cruising August 5th - thank you!
We don't WANzt to get off ship/leave rooms till about 9am - is that going to be possible?
-
Looks like no major abundance in any of our ports. St. Maarten has the most.
-
Thought I had posted this earlier, but what is the site that shows you how many ships are in port? I used to know this!
We will be on the Oasis E Carib sailing 12/26.
-
Thanks, Bob for the link. I guess I needed to have reworded my question - what I really wondered was how long will we be allowed to stay in our staterooms before the room steward or whoever "kicks" us out? I realize they have to get ready for the new cruisers coming on, but hoping we could stay as late as possible in the room.

Will be on St; Thomas 12/29 on Oasis of the Seas - wondering if anyone has recently booked the BW Emerald Beach OR been to the other beaches?
-
What is the name of the website that shows how many ships are in port for your cruise? We will be on the Dec. 26th sailing of the Oasis. Thanks in advance. I used to know this:(

We are staying at a hotel with a 2 pm check in time on the Boardwalk/Hollywood Beach. I have called and they will NOT hold luggage for our room prior to 2pm (hotel is fully booked night before) nor permit an early check in:(
So what is the latest you can disembark and how do we REQUEST late disembarkation???
Springhill suites/FLL airport (using for our PRE cruise stay) has told us we COULD store our luggage there and I am sort of considering going there and maybe hit the mall across the street or something till time comes up for us to check in.

Did you just take taxi to get to resort? How far from the pier was it? Temp of pool water ? We are going in a couple of weeks. Did pass include food and/or drinks?
-
I am also interested in their tour for St. Thomas.i hope I have not waited too long to book them.
We willbe there on Oasis on Dec. 29.

Wow- you posted the teen brochure of activities! How helpful this will be! I really, really appreciate you taking the time to do that for me.
I am assuming that all teens ages 12-17 are "lumped"together judging from the front page.
Again, thanks so much and I hope you enjoy the rest of your cruise. This is a fabulous review!
All the pictures really make me want to leave right now.

Another question - I do not"see" any posted times for teens in the evenings. I will have a 14 and a 16 year old onboard when we sail day after Christmas. IF YOU BY CHANCE get a chance to see one of those papers that lists those activities, would you please post it?
I know that is a lot to ask, but ANY info you can give would be great, too. I am thinking it is more of just places for them to meet and hang out versus a "set" venue of activities. I know on Carnival my grands enjoyed the hour plus "dance" parties in their own designated lounges each night. But if I remember correctly when my hubby and I were on before, I do not remember ever seeing teens really being "organized" or supervised". I was hoping for a little bit of that - especially for the 14 year old grand daughter.
YOur review and pictures are great! Thank you in advance for ANY info on teen activities.

Thanks for the quick reply. Since the 2 devices willbe in separate rooms and Will possibly be used at the same time, I guess I do need to go that route. Daughter uses wifi quite a bit and I don't want to "Check" with her to see if she is logged on or not. Staying in contact is a good perk I had not really thought about:) Both of us will have I pads.

We willbe on Oasis week after Christmas. I am booked in balcony room, but will actually be staying in interior across the hall once we board. Just booked myself that way so we could get cand a discount on both rooms. Hubby booked with grandson, but he will actually be in balcony room with daughter and his sister.
I want wifi for daughter and myself - will that be a problem that I am not physically in room I was booked in? Hoping to straighten this out at pier - make change the. I was told if I changed names now, it would mess up pricing.
Anyway, again, if buying wifi for 2 devices with one device being used in one room and daughter using it in her room, will that be q problem??.

Does anyone know if Giovann's Table is open on embarkation day and if so, what time it opens? Previously I reserved lunch there, but the website is not showing that it is open for reservations on embarkation for lunch?
-
My family of 5 will be in a OV balcony and interior directly across the hall. I am eager to hear comments on your room location and how you liked deck 6. I am thinking it willbe convenient to Boardwalk. Don't have our room #s in front of me right now, but we are a few doors aft of the aft elevator set.
Thank you for this great live post!

I have made reds previously, but it doesn't seem to be open at lunch anymore????? Or maybe not anymore on first day?? B

In a separate post I just inquired about WHAT type activities are led by the staff for teens - especially at these late hours.
-
We willbe on Oasis Dec.26th sailing bringing our 2 grands ages 14 and16. We have sailed both the OSis and Allure before years ago, but are wondering about the activities available (organized) with the teen programs since we really did not notice that on our prior cruises. I realize that at these ages they may not get into the organized activities like the younger age groups, but was hoping they have a "dance hour" or such in avenue just for their age range. Does anyone happen to have a copy from a recent sailing or know much about what is available for the teens? Obviously, there are a multitude of options for them, but I was mostly interested in whether the your staff would be on hand OR if this age just basically has designated areas to hang out. Any and all help or info is appreciated!

I am in the same dilemma trying to decide if we should take a ship excursions - which I normally avoid or just taxi the 5 of us to Atlantis. Would we have plenty of time to see the Aquarium? Any chance no tickets available on that? I had heard the Aqua Adventure Pass/slides were great, but they did not open till 10 am and we have to be back on the ship at 1:30pm:(
ANOTHER QUESTION - Has anyone ever done the BUBBLE drive yourself submersibles in Nassau that RCL and shore Trips offer? Considering that as an option.
We will be on the Oasis 12/26/15 sailing.
-
The Dream is the only year round ship for the 7 night cruises and she does 3 different itineraries. RCL is no longer there and NCL Dawn will return only from Mid October - early spring. We have sailed numerous times on all itineraries and often in January with no problem on the motion of the ocean:)
The Dream is the largest and newest ship now sailing out of New Orleans. Great ship.
-
We will be on her week after Christmas for the NYE sailing. Cannot wait - your pictures are great. We will do the E Carib though. Keep up the great work, please!

I know the OP had just carryon bag, but was there an option to have your luggage delivered to the airport for you? We fly out on Delta at 4:50pm so we are also considering the Day Pass for Marriott Stellaris on Nov. 25. We will be sailing on the Nov. 18th cruise.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review and I am so very sorry you got sick on your cruise!
